Latest Update Dodgers trying to move Kemp, Crawford or Ethier Sun Nov, 09, 09:44 PM
A great athlete: has speed, excellent bat speed, a great glove, solid throwing arm and superb batting eye. Produces both as a run-scoring threat and an RBI guy while playing top-tier defense.
Flaws: : Strikes out far too much and can be guilty of being way too aggressive at the dish from time to time. Has had some injury problems in the past that have hindered his overall production over the years.
There were plenty of rumors around the trade deadline this past season that the Dodgers were looking to move these players with Matt Kemp being the most heavily linked to a deal with the Red Sox that never materialized past the rumors stage. It should be an interesting off-season with all the big names available in free-agency and now potentially some big names available via trade.Analyst: Jonathan Impemba
Kemp finished the season on fire as he hit .322 with nine home runs and 25 RBI over the final month. He's now 5-for-9 with the home run, two RBI and a run scored in this series and remains a huge threat to carry the Dodgers on his shoulder and lead them past the Cardinals..Analyst: Howard Bender
Kemp was a huge question mark for fantasy owners in 2014. Was he worth taking a flier on, in hopes that he would return to his glory years, or would he turn out to be a waste of a draft pick. Those who took fliers on him were rewarded. A .287 average, 25 home runs, 89 RBIs, and eight stolen bases are pretty great numbers for any player. Kemp enjoyed a successful 2014, and should be drafted earlier than this past year in 2015. A great bounce back season for Matt Kemp.Analyst: Colby Conway
The Dodgers have clinched a playoff spot and Kemp will be taking a routine breather. His has swung a white hot bat as of late and Los Angeles wants him as healthy as possible headed into the postseason.Analyst: David Kerr
