Latest Update Kemp smacks 21st homer Monday Tue Sep, 16, 05:50 AM
A great athlete: has speed, excellent bat speed, a great glove, solid throwing arm and superb batting eye. Produces both as a run-scoring threat and an RBI guy while playing top-tier defense.
Flaws: : Strikes out far too much and can be guilty of being way too aggressive at the dish from time to time. Has had some injury problems in the past that have hindered his overall production over the years.
Kemp has really picked up the pace down the stretch, going 7-for-25 with five extra-base hits (2 HR), seven RBI and five runs scored over his last six games. He is now slashing .304/.370/.593 with 13 home runs and 41 RBI since returning from the All-Star break, making him one of the best offensive players in that stretch. Analyst: Matthew Beck
While Kemp didn't return to the 2011 or 2012 form owners had hoped for, he has still enjoyed a productive season. He launched his 20th long ball, and recorded his 73rd, and 74th RBI. While also hitting for a .284 average, Kemp has even managed to steal eight bases. Continue starting Kemp in your line up.Analyst: Colby Conway
The injury is very minor as Kemp hasn't missed any games recently because of the foot injury.Analyst: Mark Kaplan
Kemp is now slashing .284/.348/.486 with 19 home runs, 72 RBI and 65 runs scored through 490 at-bats this season as he continues to have himself a nice bounce back year. He has hit safely in eight of his last 10 games and remains a must-start option as long as he sees regular at-bats down the stretch. Analyst: Matthew Beck
