A driven player with nice defensive skills: can play all over the infield and outfield. Drives the ball the other way, with occasional power. Has quick feet in the field. Makes solid contact and doesn't strike out a lot.
Flaws: : Isn't always able to catch up to inside fastballs, so he generally doesn't provide a lot of home-run power. Lacks consistency on offense and can run too hot and cold sometimes with the stick.
Omar Infante's home run came in the 6th inning and it plated Salvador Perez. His home run traveled 406 feet, and came off of Hunter Strickland. The home run led to some controversy between the two teams, but nothing major resulted of it.Analyst: Colby Conway
With the Royals still in the playoffs, Infante is going to play through a shoulder issue that has been bothering him for some time. Infante is having trouble throwing overhand and has limited his pre-game preparation in hope that he can save all of his strength for game action.
