Latest Update Ichiro Suzuki said he feels great and indicated he has no plans to retire. Mon Sep, 29, 06:18 PM
A supremely gifted outfielder with incredible baseball instincts, he's one of the greatest contact hitters ever. A prolific singles hitter & run scorer, he also has a great throwing arm & base-stealing speed.
Flaws: : Doesn't possess a lot of home-run power and doesn't hit a lot of doubles, either. Also doesn't take a lot of walks. Is not seen as a clubhouse leader, despite his superstar status. Is in sharp decline now.
He says he feels great, but he his hitting suggested a different story as he hit one home run, drove in 22 runs, and only stole 15 bases. With that said, hope Ichiro plays for a long time because he's a legend. However, I want nothing to do with him in fantasy baseball.Analyst: Mark Kaplan
Suzuki was a manageable option for the Yankees, but left fantasy owners wanting more. While he did hit for a .284 average, he only hit one home run and drove in only 22 runners. Even at his increasing age, he still managed to steal 15 bags for the Yankees. It was a rather down fantasy year for the aging veteran, and fantasy owners should know that he isn't the player he was in his prime.Analyst: Colby Conway
Suzuki hasn't been his typical this season, but had a nice night at the plate on Tuesday. You could do worse if you need average and speed for the final few weeks. Analyst: David Kerr
