Latest Update Ender Inciarte went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, a walk and a stolen base in the Diamondbacks victory over the Rockies on Sunday. Sun Aug, 31, 07:45 PM
Has excellent speed and can steal plenty of bases. Also displays pretty good bat control and patience at the dish, since his walk/strikeout ratio is solid.
Flaws: : Doesn't have much pop in his bat, so he may not be good enough to play every day at the big-league level. Also gets caught stealing a bit too much.
Inciarte continues to pile up the hits. In 26 August games, he has gotten a hit in 22 of those games. However, he does not score enough, or run enough, or have enough to power to be a daily fantasy play. Consider Inciarte a spot play at best.Analyst: Colby Conway
Inciarte now has 12 stolen bases in 300 at-bats. He is still widely available, and he is virtually guaranteed regular playing time. Fantasy players looking for cheap steals could do far worse.Analyst: Steve Pimental
Ender hit out of the leadoff spot and provided the spark for the offense in the Tuesday night's game. Even with the big effort, he's still slashing just .263/.298/.337 with three home runs and 11 stolen bases. He's a zero in on-base leagues due to allergy to walks, but could serve as a useful addition in NL-Only formats for owners desperately in need of speed. Analyst: Spencer Silva
Inciarte is having himself a solid August, slashing .321/.361/.449 with two home runs, seven RBI, 12 runs scored and three stole bases over 78 at-bats. With Mark Trumbo manning first base the rest of the way, there should be plenty of at-bats for Inciarte while playing in the Diamondbacks outfield, so those in deep leagues will want to add him to watch lists and make him a consideration if his hot-hitting continues.
