It's Week 6, and things are starting to crystallize in the world of fantasy football. Guys like Vick and Daniels can't stay healthy, what a shock. Guys like Brees and Romo continue to get it done, what a shock. Youngsters like Lacy and Cameron are establishing themselves as weekly starters. Which fellas on the gridiron have the best matchups for Week 6? So glad you asked as we've got a lot of information to share with you in your quest to emerge with the “W” in the sixth week of the NFL season.
Every year during the preseason, we preach the same old thing when it comes to quarterbacks – there’s no need to rush your pick as it’s the deepest position out there**. With so much talent out there, you can afford to wait until at least the fifth round and you’ll still find yourself some top quality. But is that the case this season? The strategy works if you’re using those top picks on high-scoring, elite running backs and splashing in a couple of high-end wide receivers and/or tight ends, but if those picks aren’t putting up the points you were expecting, then you probably find yourself struggling here through the first five weeks of the fantasy football season without an elite-level quarterback.
It's Week 4 of the NFL season meaning we've got data to review in order to help us to make more informed decisions in fantasy football. That doesn't mean there is ever unanimity if you ask the experts, and it doesn't mean that the numbers always lead to the correct answer. However history matters a bit, as does current levels of production, usage, matchups etc. This week we'll share our thoughts on some of the better Week 4 matchups out there as you try to continue building upon what was hopefully a solid start to the football season for your fantasy club (who are we kidding, there's no way anyone reading this has only one fantasy football team).
What happened in Week 3 of the NFL season? That's what we'll discuss in this article. We won't touch on Thursday Night Football in this piece. That's so yesterday. We also won't touch on Sunday Night Football because we wanted to get this info out to you as soon as we could and that meant we posted this before the game was complete. What we will touch on are some of the best and brightest of Week 3 as well as those that failed to live up to expectations. There were plenty of guys who crapped out and cost fantasy owners big time.
What happened in Week 2 of the NFL season? That's what we'll discuss in this article. We won't touch on Thursday Night Football in this piece. That's so yesterday. We also won't touch on Sunday Night Football because we wanted to get this info out to you as soon as we could and that meant we posted this before the game was complete. What we will touch on is some of the best and brightest of Week 2, those that failed to live up to expectations, and all those running backs that seem to have picked up an injury in the NFL's second week.
