Arron Afflalo Headshot

Afflalo (hamstring) will not play during Monday's matchup against the Timberwolves, Sean Cunningham of ABC10 Sacramento reports.

Despite being upgraded to questionable Saturday, Afflalo hasn't made enough progress to participate in Monday's tilt against the Timberwolves. His next chance to play will come Wednesday against the Nets, but it's unclear what his role will be moving forward considering he hasn't seen the floor since the Kings acquired multiple guards when they sent DeMarcus Cousins to the Pelicans.

Thon Maker Headshot

Maker will draw the start at center for Monday's tilt against the Cavaliers, despite an earlier report which indicated that John Henson would start.

Maker has started at center for the Bucks since Jabari Parker (knee) went down for the season, and has averaged 5.7 points and 3.7 rebounds across 16.3 minutes per game in that role. That being said, his minutes severely limit his fantasy potential, and he should probably still be avoided in most fantasy formats.

John Henson Headshot

Updating a previous report, Henson will come off the bench for Monday's matchup with the Cavaliers.

Reports prior to game indicated that coach Jason Kidd was going to go back to Henson as his starting center, but the Bucks opted to switch it at the last second and go with Thon Maker instead. With guys like Maker and Greg Monroe in the fold, Henson has had a highly volatile role and is often left out of the rotation completely, so he can be avoided in the majority of leagues.
7:22 pm (EST)
Andrei Vasilevskiy Headshot

Vasilevskiy led the team onto the ice for pregame warmups Monday and thus will start against the Senators, Erik Erlendsson of Lightning Insider reports.

Vasi will be looking to put an end to end to a five-game losing streak in this one. He's allowed 14 goals during that cold spell, which has inflated his GAA 2.81 on the season. With the newly acquired Peter Budaj likely to be breathing down his neck in the Bolts' crease, he'll need to turn things around in short order. He'll face an Ottawa squad that's averaged 2.60 goals per game this year, good for 19th in the league.
7:11 pm (EST)
J.J. Barea Headshot

Barea (calf) will miss at least another week, Dwain Price of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

There was optimism earlier Monday that Barea could be back in action by the end of this week, but it appears we'll have to wait till at least a Mar. 3 matchup with the Lakers before entertaining a potential return. With Deron Williams being waived earlier this week, Yogi Ferrell should be in line for big minutes moving forward at the point guard position, while Devin Harris acts as his backup. Once available, Barea would likely jump Harris for that top reserve role behind Ferrell.
7:02 pm (EST)
Thon Maker Headshot

Maker will come off the bench for Monday's contest against the Cavaliers, Bucks radio play-by-play announcer Ted Davis reports.

Coach Jason Kidd has decided to go with John Henson at the center slot to face up against a great rebounder for the Cavaliers in Tristan Thompson. It's unknown whether or not Maker will even see the floor, considering Kidd often relies heavily on Greg Monroe off the bench, and is not shy to hand out DNP-CDs on a regular basis.
6:58 pm (EST)
Patrick McCaw Headshot

McCaw will return to the bench for Monday's game against the 76ers.

McCaw drew the spot start Saturday against the Nets in place of the ailing Kevin Durant (hand), finishing with nine points, four rebounds and an assist across 25 minutes. With Durant back to full strength and rejoining the top unit, McCaw heads back to the bench and should fill just a minor role on the wing, thus severely restricting his value moving forward.
6:56 pm (EST)
John Henson Headshot

Henson will draw the start at center for Monday's tilt against the Cavaliers, Bucks radio play-by-play announcer Ted Davis reports.

Coach Jason Kidd has decided to go with Henson over Thon Maker at the center slot to go up against tenacious rebounder Tristan Thompson. Henson still may not crack a 30-minute workload however, as Kidd often relies heavily on Greg Monroe off the bench.
6:55 pm (EST)
Ben Bishop Headshot

Bishop (illness) will be available as the backup to Jonathan Quick on Monday against the Wild, NHL.com reports.

This will be Bishop's first time suiting up as a member of the Kings following his trade from Tampa Bay on Sunday. Coach Daryl Suter hinted that Bishop will share the net with Quick a fair amount. "Jonathan Quick can't play every game," he said. "He has a long-term contract, which means you want him to fulfill that contract and be a healthy player." Indeed, having Quick healthy will be vital as LA tries to squeak its way into playoff position, but he seems to be on an even playing field with Bishop, who carries a lifetime record of 146-77-23 to go along with a 2.32 GAA and .919 save percentage and 19 career shutouts.
