Week 3 is going to be remembered more for who didn’t do what rather than who actually showed up this week. There were so many disappointments this week from Marshawn Lynch ruining the greatest of matchups to the entire Giants offense soaking the bed with diarrhea. Then of course it just wouldn’t have been a Sunday of Football without several notable RB’s going down with injuries. While we wait on more news from C.J. Spiller, Daryl Richardson, James Starks and Chris Ivory let’s sit back and review everything that happened in Week 3.
Both the NFL and fantasy football community are all abuzz with the recent news that the Cleveland Browns just traded running back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for a future first-round pick. Apparently Richardson doesn’t fit into coach Rob Chudzinski’s offensive game plan and the team would rather just tank the year than go on fooling themselves, thinking that T-Rich is part of the problem and not the solution. Whaaaaat? That loud boom you’re hearing right now is the collective heads of football fans everywhere whose minds have been blown by today’s actions. But rather than continue down this path that only leads to the declaration of the Browns’ stupidity, let’s be productive and talk about the fantasy football impact that this trade will have moving forward.
