Oh Week 7, you vex me. The Bye weeks are manageable for one more week before all hell breaks loose in Weeks 8 & 9 when six teams are out of action each week, but every week is important in the push for the fantasy football playoffs. Oh hell, we'll focus more on the guys you should feel good about having in your lineup this week when we talk Week 7 matchups.
It's Week 6, and things are starting to crystallize in the world of fantasy football. Guys like Vick and Daniels can't stay healthy, what a shock. Guys like Brees and Romo continue to get it done, what a shock. Youngsters like Lacy and Cameron are establishing themselves as weekly starters. In what follows we'll point out some of the better matchups of the week. Some of the names will be obvious – yeah it takes a genius of immense knowledge to stay start Drew Brees – but some of the suggestions might boost a few of the fellas significantly up your rankings.
Week 4 is the end of the beginning of the 2013 Fantasy Football Season. At this point in the season we can fairly sit back and judge what we have seen thus far and not call it an overreaction. This week pretty much stayed true to for in that we had a number of significant injuries to deal with, more big performances from guys like Adrian Peterson & Jordan Cameron and more failures from the likes of C.J. Spiller & Roddy White. Week 4 also saw more historic performances from Peyton Manning and the Broncos offense on the good side and from Blaine Gabbert and the Jaguars on the miserable side. Let’s relive all of the highs and lows from Week 4 with a full recap of all 15 Sunday Games.
It’s a shame Hank Williams Jr. ruined it all with his social and political views, otherwise I could ask you all if you’re ready for some football. But thanks to Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper we’ve had our fix of racism for the season and instead we’re left to just fantasize over some scantily clad country gal singing some song that sort of sounds like a football theme. Yes folks, the NFL season is finally upon us! After months of mini-camps, OTAs, training camp and preseason snoozers, it’s all about to begin tonight with the Ravens and the Broncos squaring off for the inaugural game of the 2013-14 season. And with that brings us to the opening of the fantasy football season. You’ve had your draft, you’ve possibly made a few tweaks to the roster here and there and now it’s time to see if you can actually put your money where your mouth is. We’re going to have extensive coverage here at Fantasy Alarm and we’re going to start out official in-season coverage right here with a fantasy preview of tonight’s game.
