Orlando Arcia (R) Headshot

Arcia is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cubs.

Arcia will open on the bench for a second time in six games as manager Craig Counsell continues to give Eric Sogard starts around the infield. The 23-year-old has turned in a respectable .271/.364/.354 line with seven RBI and a 9:7 K:BB through 18 games in September.

Damien Williams Headshot

Williams (ribs) practiced fully Thursday.

Williams is off the fantasy radar as long as Jay Ajayi is healthy enough to play. With that in mind, Ajayi has miss back-to-back practices, but the knee issue that's slowed him this week is not considered serious.

Jeff Allen Headshot

Allen (ankle) did not practice again Thursday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Allen has not practiced since sustaining the injury in the Texans' season opener and now reportedly could be out a few more games, as well. It has yet to be confirmed by the team, but the 27-year-old doesn't seem likely to play against the Patriots on Sunday, regardless.
4:55 pm (EST)
LeSean McCoy Headshot

McCoy, who missed Wednesday's practice as a scheduled rest day, practiced fully Thursday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

McCoy was listed with a (wrist) next to his name, but that's seemingly soreness stemming from a Week 1 ding, just like the minor groin issue that sidelined him for a practice next week. The Buffalo offense revolves around McCoy, plan and simple, and rest days are going to be part of his routine throughout the season.
4:54 pm (EST)
Tashaun Gipson Headshot

Gipson (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Edward Lee of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Gipson sat out Wednesday's practice, so his return Thursday, even on a limited basis, is a good sign heading into the weekend. Gipson played all 68 defensive snaps for the Jaguars in their Week 2 loss to the Titans despite the injury, so the team is likely just taking precautionary measures with the cornerback heading into this week's matchup with the Ravens.
4:52 pm (EST)
Cory Spangenberg (L) Headshot

Spangenberg is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rockies.

Spangenberg will head to the bench for a second straight contest, and the third time in four games, as the Padres continue to give Christian Villanueva looks at third base. With Spangenberg riding the pine, Villanueva will bat sixth and man the hot corner.
4:52 pm (EST)
Ryan Hamilton Headshot

Hamilton was released from his professional tryout agreement with Edmonton on Thursday.

This is an unfortunate development for Hamilton, who had only joined the Oilers' training camp Tuesday. A minor league journeyman for the vast majority of his career, Hamilton captained AHL Bakersfield -- Edmonton's minor-league affiliate -- for the past two campaigns and will be hoping to land a with another organization as the season approaches.
4:50 pm (EST)
Allen Hurns Headshot

Hurns (shoulder) practiced fully Thursday.

Now that Allen Robinson is on IR, Hurns finds himself back in the fantasy discussion, in the Jaguars' starting lineup opposite Marqise Lee. Hurns was on the field for 88 percent of the Jaguars' snaps on offense in Week 2, catching six of his seven targets for 82 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Titans. He's good to go for Week 3's game at Wembley Stadium in London, but his matchup against a rugged Baltimore defense is less than ideal.
4:49 pm (EST)
Zach Zenner Headshot

Zenner is expected to be active for the first time this season Sunday against the Falcons, likely serving as the Lions' No. 3 running back, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.

Dwayne Washington (quadriceps) missed a second straight practice Thursday and seems unlikely to suit up Sunday, leaving Zenner in line to serve as the top understudy to Ameer Abdullah and Theo Riddick. With 334 yards and four touchdowns on the ground last season, Zenner outperformed Washington from an offensive standpoint, but the latter's responsibilities as the Lions' kick returner has allowed him to rank ahead of Zenner on the depth chart in 2017. Zenner won't be in store for kick-return duties if he dresses Sunday, but more importantly from a fantasy perspective, he would inherit Washington's role as a power back, likely seeing most of his carries in short-yardage situations in the red zone.
4:48 pm (EST)
Shaq Lawson Headshot

Lawson, who missed Wednesday's practice with a nerve contusion in his foot, was able to participate on a limited basis Thursday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

Lawson made it through most of the game last week and produced his first sack of the season, and it's looking like the Bills will have their key second-year man back for this week's challenge against the Broncos.
