Batters: Line Drive & Hard Hit Rates

Giancarlo Stanton went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Tuesday’s 4-3 loss to the Marlins.

Stanton went through a dreadful five-game skid at the plate from May 16th-21st that saw him go 0-for-17 with 15 whiffs. However, over the past three days, he has begun to show life and Tuesday’s sixth-inning solo shot was definitely an encouraging sign. Fantasy owners must stay patient with one of the game’s elite power hitters.

Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and two runs scored in Tuesday’s 4-3 loss to the Marlins.

Ozuna has been on a simply ridiculous tear with the bat over the past week. During his current six-game hitting streak, the 25-year-old outfielder has gone 11-for-22 with two homers, five doubles, three RBI and seven runs scored. Ozuna will look to keep it going Wednesday evening versus Tampa Bay righty Matt Andriese.
