Al-Farouq Aminu Headshot

Al-Farouq Aminu will be limited to 16-20 minutes Thursday.

Aminu is still working his way back to full minutes and has been in this range of minutes for the last few games. His struggles so far this year have made him unrosterable and the minutes limitations don't help either. Meyers Leonard will continue to see a bulk of the minutes at the four in place of Aminu.

Matt den Dekker Headshot

Matt den Dekker has signed with the Marlins on a minor league deal.

den Dekker has been a journeyman outfielder while spending time with the Nats and Mets most notably and will now head back home to join the Marlins. He intends to compete for the fifth outfielder spot for the Marlins but if that doesn't work out, he will head to the Triple-A affiliate to sit as organizational depth for the Fish.

Darrell Arthur Headshot

Darrell Arthur is in the starting lineup Thursday.

Arthur played a lot of the second half on Wednesday night after Kenneth Faried was benched. Now Arthur gets the start over the Manimal against Washington because of his defense. There is no way to know whether it will be an even split in minutes between the two or not but Arthur may start more games more often now.

E'Twaun Moore Headshot

E'Twaun Moore (toe) has been ruled out for Thursday.

He was originally questionable for the game but has been downgraded to out, just like Jrue Holiday was. Buddy Hield should draw the start for the Pelicans, just as he did Monday against Memphis. Moore is still considered day-to-day and could have a shot at playing in the next game.

Jrue Holiday Headshot

Jrue Holiday (toe) has been ruled out for Thursday.

This will be Holiday's second straight missed game due to the case of turf toe he is currently dealing with. He didn't play on the fifth against Memphis either. Holiday missed the first part of the season while carrying for his wife, Lauren, who underwent brain surgery to remove a benign tumor, but since his return, he has been very good and worth a play every night, when healthy. Expect the Pelicans to use the same rotation they did in Tuesday's affair.
