Robbie Ray allowed two runs on seven hits with eight strikeouts and one walk over 4 1/3 innings against the Astros on Sunday.

Ray looked solid in a short outing today, lowering his ERA to 3.52 for the season. Ray did not have an overly outstanding season, although he still served as a solid starter for a team that struggled most of the year. His 5-12 record is a bit misleading considering he mostly stayed away from many awful outings. At just 24 years old, Ray should be able to come into 2016 even stronger after a good year of gaining confidence and experience. Analysis: Zack Carpenter
