Josh Hamilton Headshot

Rangers have reportedly re-signed Josh Hamilton to a minor-league deal

Hamilton had a great run with the Rangers from 2008-2012. His career began to spiral down when he joined the Angels after that. Now age 35 there is little optimism about him being able to produce very much this coming season. The Rangers are taking a low-risk high-reward signing on him.

Jordy Nelson Headshot

Jordy Nelson is a longshot to play against the Falcons.

Nelson is still dealing with the rib injury and is currently listed as questionable. News of being a longshot to play would certainty put him more on the doubtful side though. It will be a big loss to the Packer offense if he is out for the NFC Championship game.

Ladarius Green Headshot

Ladarius Green is still in the concussion protocol.

Green is currently listed as questionable for the game against the Patriots. He would be a big boost to the steelers offense, which will be looking to pull off the upset and make it to the Super Bowl.

Ryan Anderson Headshot

Ryan Anderson (illness) is doubtful to play in Tuesday's game.

Anderson has played solid for the Rockets and is currently their 3rd leading scorer. Sam Dekker, Montrezl Harrell, and Corey Brewer will all see extra minutes with Anderson out.

Tony Romo Headshot

No decision has been made on Tony Romo fate, according to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

We won't know about Romo's fate for the 2017-18 season for awhile. The Cowboys will look to trade him for the maximum possible value and that should come closer to draft time. There are a lot of teams that could use his veteran leadership, like the Denver Broncos for one example. Just stay tuned for more updates.

Clint Capela Headshot

Clint Capela will play in Tuesday's game against the Miami Heat.

This injury could not have come at a worse time for Capela, who was playing the best basketball of his career prior. The original timetable for the injury was 4-6 weeks but it looks like things have progressed faster than expected. "I've been doing pretty good in the workouts by myself, sprinting, dunking. It all felt good," Capela said. He is averaging 11.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.6 blocks - all career-highs. If he is on your waiver wire, grab him now and thank us later.

Darrell Arthur Headshot

Darrell Arthur (knee) is questionable for Tuesday.

We still don't know whether Arthur will be able to play on Tuesday night after missing his second consecutive game due to left knee soreness on Monday. The man has missed a grand total of 10 games this season as a result of similar knee issues. "When we (practice) hard he goes hardest. And his knee has a hard time withstanding that pounding. So I almost have to try to protect him from himself at times," said Coach Malone. If Arthur is out on Tuesday, look for Faried to continue to log big minutes.

Ty Lawson Headshot

Ty Lawson (ankle) is listed as probable for Wednesday's game.

Lawson did little in 20 minutes of court time before exiting Monday's game due to an ankle injury. He seems to have avoided a significant injury and should be back in the lineup Wednesday. Lawson had been playing well prior to Monday, averaging 14.4 points and 4.2 assists across the previous five games.

George Hill Headshot

George Hill (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game at Dallas.

The schedule could work out well for the Jazz in regards to Hill's health status, as they will not be back on the court until Friday night. Hill exited in the late stages of Monday's game and labeled as questionable for Friday. Following a three-game absence earlier this month, the veteran guard has been outstanding over the past six games, averaging 16.7 points, 4.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds.

Jared Dudley Headshot

Jared Dudley (illness) remains day-to-day.

Dudley is apparently dealing with an illness right now, but that is not likely effecting his potential playing time anyway. The veteran swingman has played in just one game this month, totaling just over five minutes.
