Maxx Williams Headshot

Maxx Williams (undisclosed) will return shortly after the Ravens' final preseason game.

Williams missed the past two preseason games with an undisclosed injury, but according to Harbaugh, he'll return soon. Ben Watson recently suffered a season-ending achillies injury, which has opened the door for the rest of the tight end group in Baltimore. Expect Crockett Gillmore to get the first look as the starter, with Williams and Pitta mixing in, but none of them provide much fantasy upside.

Josh Doctson Headshot

Josh Doctson is limited at Monday's practice.

Doctson is working his way back from an achilles injury so it's possible the team is just giving the rookie WR some light work today. Head Coach Jay Gruden expects Doctson to be a full go for week 1 but also hasn't ruled out a visit to the PUP list. He has plenty of talent but is sitting behind DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon on the depth chart, so expectations shouldn't be very high for the rookie.

Cullen Jenkins Headshot

Cullen Jenkins signed a one-year deal with Washington on Monday.

The 35-year-old worked out for the Redskins on Monday and has agreed to a one-year deal with the team. Jenkins has played the last five seasons within the NFC East, so he should be quite familiar with his new team, and also his opponents. He's a shell of what he once was, but can still dial up a solid pass rush from time to time.

Dennis Pitta Headshot

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said he thinks TE Dennis Pitta (fractured finger) can return to practice and play in the Sept. 11 opener.

This is good news for the oft-injured tight end, however, his usage in the offense as a pass-catcher remains to be seen. Crockett Gilmore is the tight end to own in Baltimore for fantasy but shouldn't be looked upon at anything more than a TE2.

Danny Amendola Headshot

Danny Amendola could remain on the PUP list to start the season.

Amendola underwent offseason ankle and knee surgery and was withheld from all offseason workouts as he rehabbed. His status for week 1 has always been in question and now it appears he may be opening the season on the PUP list, which means he wouldn't be eligible to return until week 7. With the addition of Chris Hogan and Malcolm Mitchell, it's going to be tough for Amendola to get very many targets, even for a pass-heavy team such as New England.

D'Joun Smith Headshot

D’Joun Smith is dealing with an ankle injury.

Smith was forced to miss Indy's preseason game on Saturday with the ankle injury and his return is not yet known. He had been working his way up the depth chart but the Colts are quickly becoming very thin at cornerback because of injuries. Their top corner, Vontae Davis, is expected to miss at least the first month of the season.

Orlando Scandrick Headshot

Orlando Scandrick (groin) participated in practice Sunday.

Scandrick missed last week's preseason game with a groin injury, but was able to return to practice today, although the extent of the participation is still unknown. The Cowboys expect him to be back in time for week 1. Dallas is projected to have one of the league's worst defenses this season so they'll need Scandrick to suit up as soon as possible.

Duke Williams Headshot

Duke Williams could be in line for a significant role to start the season.

Head Coach Rex Ryan has been impressed with the safety's play this preseason, and with starting SS Aaron Williams currently in the league's concussion protocol, Duke Williams could find himself getting early opportunities. If nothing else, his strong play has assured himself a roster spot to start the season.

Carson Wentz Headshot

Carson Wentz (ribs) is still not 100 percent and will likely not play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Jets.

The second overall pick in 2016 NFL Draft suffered a hairline fracture in his ribs during the Eagles preseason opener. Philadelphia thought they could get Wentz back for the preseason finale on Thursday, that won't happen as he still deals with discomfort. The rookie will open the season on the bench.

Dorial Green-Beckham Headshot

Dorial Green-Beckham will play in Thursday's preseason finale.

The Eagles have not wasted anytime getting Green-Beckham into the mix during the preseason, even seeing time with the ones. Sam Bradford targeted him twice in the end zone, but no surprisingly Green-Beckham showed communication issues with his quarterback. Philadelphia wants to get him more run in the offensive system before putting him out there Week 1 with the starters.
