Jonathan Quick Headshot

Quick made 32 saves in his return Saturday from a groin injury to pace the Kings to a 4-1 victory over the Ducks.

He missed 59 games after suffering the injury in the first period of the season opener Oct. 12. Quick looked remarkably sharp Saturday, even doing the splits to deny Nick Ritchie in the first. Get him back in there STAT.

Patrick Beverley Headshot

Beverley (groin) will play and start in Saturday's tilt against the Timberwolves despite previous reports indicating that he would be sidelined, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Beverley tested out his injury in the pregame shootaround and determined that it's good enough for him to take part in Saturday's contest. He played 30 minutes Thursday against the Pelicans, and could see a similar workload against the Timberwolves.

Patrick Beverley Headshot

Beverley (groin) will play and start in Saturday's game against the Timberwolves, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Beverley was initially reported to be out of Saturday's game due to his groin injury, but after working out his injury a bit he determined he could play. Eric Gordon, who was expected to start in Beverley's place, will come off the bench once again. It's unclear if Beverley will be limited at all, if he is look for Gordon to see some extra minutes off the bench.
8:03 pm (EST)
Lance Thomas Headshot

Thomas will start at small forward in Saturday's game against Philadelphia.

It was initially reported that Thomas would come off the bench and Kyle O'Quinn would draw the start, but the Knicks changed their lineup at the last minute. Thomas played 31 minutes in Thursday's loss to the Cavaliers and figures to see a similar minute load on Saturday.
7:51 pm (EST)
Kyle O'Quinn Headshot

O'Quinn will come off the bench for Saturday's matchup against the 76ers, despite earlier reports of him starting.

With Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) out, O'Quinn will continue providing a spark off the bench while Lance Thomas will draw the start at power forward.
7:50 pm (EST)
Gabriel Ynoa Headshot

Ynoa allowed a run on three hits and struck out one over two innings in Saturday's exhibition game against the Pirates.

The recently-acquired right-hander struggled through a rocky first inning before settling down to retire all three Pirates he face in the second. "In the first inning, I was going too [quickly] toward home plate," Ynoa said through an interpreter. "In the second inning, I was [calmer], under control, so I think that was the difference." Ynoa will likely begin the year as a starter in Triple-A Norfolk, but an improvement this spring could earn him a few spot starts for the Orioles later in the season.
7:46 pm (EST)
Nick Bonino Headshot

Bonino (illness) will play Saturday against the Flyers.

Bonino missed one game due to his illness, but now he's back and he's penciled in to center Pittsburgh's third line. However, considering that Bonino only has eight goals and 14 assists in 58 games, he likely won't make a huge fantasy impact upon his return.
7:37 pm (EST)
Justin Schultz Headshot

Schultz (concussion) participated in pregame warmups before Saturday's game against the Flyers, Dave Molinari of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Head coach Mike Sullivan said that Schultz was feeling "really good," so it certainly seems like he's going to play, barring a setback in warmups. Schultz has enjoyed a breakout season, as he has 39 points in 56 games. The Penguins will be happy to have him back after a three-game absence.
7:34 pm (EST)
Clint Capela Headshot

Capela will assume his normal role as the starting center for Saturday's contest against the Timberwolves, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Coach Mike D'Antoni opted to start Nene over Capela during Thursday's victory over the Pelicans, likely due to matchup, but has decided to go back to Capela as his starter for Saturday's tilt.
7:32 pm (EST)
Eric Gordon Headshot

Gordon will start at shooting guard in Saturday's matchup with the Timberwolves, Rockets' radio announcer Craig Ackerman reports.

Gordon is getting the start in place of the injured Patrick Beverly (groin). Look for Gordon to see an increase in minutes on the day before eventually returning to the bench when Beverly returns.
