Davis has recently returned since his latest injury in later June and been dominant since. Davis is currently 21-for-23 in save opportunities. Davis is going to be one of the best receivers in the game and remain relevant in fantasy.

Since joining the Royals rotation Duffy has been incredibly successful, allowing just one run over 6.2 innings. Duffy has been a strikeout machine lately, sending 105.2 outs down on the K over 94 inning. Duffy is someone worth owning in all fantasy foments thanks to his ability to fill in the starter and still be eligible for a relief slot.

Even though he suffered a loss, Darvish is back, clearly implicated by his 11 K’s over six innings. Darvish has now been let go for two consecutive starts and he’s struck out 20 batters. Darvish looked sharp with all of his pitches and will once again toe the rubber in five games. Darvish now has 39 strikeouts in 26 innings while walking just 11. He’s getting back to elite relevancy once again.

McCullers was electric on Friday as he struck out 10 Angels in his loss McCullers hasn’t been quite the same pitcher he was during his rookie campaign but that doesn’t mean he’s been extremely effective. McCullers is an elite talent and this won’t be the last double-digit strikeout game he has this season.

Since taking over the closers position, Harris has been fantastic. After recording a save on Friday, he’s now 10-for-11 in opportunities and has virtually been lights outs. Harris owns a 1.76 ERA and 0.98 WHIP on the year while striking out 42 batters over 41 innings. Harris has become of the leagues best closers since taking over the ninth inning for the Astros.

Despite the fact Shoemaker suffered his 10th loss of the year on Friday, he pitched extremely well and could have very well been the winner of this game. Shoemaker’s ERA dropped below 4.00 after Friday’s start as he now has a quality start in six of his last eight outings. Shoemaker’s fantasy value has been attached to the strikeout. He has struck out 115 hitters over 112.2 innings while walking a mere 23. Shoemaker’s recent stretch of excellent pitching makes him a strong candidate in any and all fantasy formats.

Simmons was the only Angel player able to record a multi-hit outing, which comes as a surprise. Friday’s multi-hit contest marks his second straight game in which he’s done so and has three of the aforementioned games over his last four. Simmons’ average is up to .276, which is nearly .20 points higher than his career average. Despite the inflated numbers, he’s still a low-end fantasy shortstop because the lack of production.

The Brewers couldn’t get much offense going on Friday but Braun provided the team a spark by belting his 14th homer of the year. Braun has had a fantastic year hitting .315 while driving in 45 RBI. Braun is currently on a seven game hitting streak and has a hit in eight of his last nine outings. Braun is being shopped on the market and if the Brewers find a suitor for him, they’ll make a move. Braun will be better suited to produce with more protection.
