Jeremy Maclin Headshot

Jeremy Maclin's status for Thursday's Week 14 game remains in doubt.

Maclin missed another game in Week 13 and so far, doesn't appear to be on track to play in Week 14 either. Should Maclin play, his snap count will likely be closely monitored, making him a risky play. For most of you, the playoffs start in Week 14 and having someone like Maclin in your lineup can be the difference in winning and losing your matchup.

Edwin Encarnacion Headshot

The Toronto Blue Jays appear to be moving on from Edwin Encarnacion.

The market for the Free Agent slugger has dwindled seemingly overnight as the Blue Jays have gone out and signed Kendrys Morales and Steve Pearce. They are also reportedly in on talks with Mitch Moreland. All these signs certainly point to the Blue Jays moving on from Encarnacion.

Rich Hill Headshot

Dodgers sign LHP Rich Hill to 3-year deal.

The deal was agreed to over the weekend and the parties finalized it this morning. Hill battled various ailments in 2016 but when he was on the mound, was one of the better pitchers in the game, amazingly at age 36. Hill posted a 2.12 ERA and 129 strikeouts in 110 1/3 innings between the Athletics and Dodgers last year and should slide in nicely in the Dodgers rotations.

Jose Calderon Headshot

An MRI confirmed that Jose Calderón suffered a right hamstring strain. He is expected to be out for 2-4 weeks.

Calderon will be out for up to a month with the hamstring strain as the injuries for the Lakers continue to mount. D'Angelo Russell is currently out with a knee injury, so Marcelo Huertas expects to slide into the starting lineup until Russell comes back. Calderon's injury also opens the doors for Brandon Ingram to see more touches in the offense.

Gary Harris Headshot

Gary Harris will not play Monday.

It was recently reported that Harris is "ahead of schedule" in his return from a foot injury. Will Barton will continue to see additional minutes in Harris's absence. His activity should increase over the next few days and then we'll have a better understanding on his return. For now, he's worth holding since he's close to a return and could provide you a nice bump in three pointers.

Nikola Jokic Headshot

Nikola Jokic will not play Monday.

Head Coach Michael Malone admitted recently that the team will be cautious with Jokic and his wrist injury. He'll be out for the next couple of games but has put up solid numbers to start the season. He's worth holding onto if you own Jokic. Kenneth Faried will see extended minutes while Jokic is out.

Doug McDermott Headshot

Doug McDermott has been assigned to the D-League.

McDermott was recently cleared for contact over the weekend and will practice with the Bulls D-League team Monday and Tuesday. There's a chance he could return Thursday but this weekend seems like a more likely scenario.

Tyreke Evans Headshot

Tyreke Evans (knee, calf) will not play Monday.

Evans did not play on Sunday as he is still dealing with knee/calf injuries. Upon his return, Evans is expected to be on a minutes restriction of 15 minutes per game for the first several games. If you're holding onto Evans, it will be a few more weeks until he gives you considerable value.

T.Y. Hilton Headshot

T.Y. Hilton is expected to play Monday night.

Hilton came in with a Questionable tag but he was able to practice Friday and Saturday. He's on the lesser side of the WR1 radar but with the game being on Monday night, you've either taken the chance and started him this week or have already started someone else. He should be in line for a nice game tonight against a Jets defense that has given up big plays in the pass game this year.

Nerlens Noel Headshot

Nerlens Noel will not join the team on the trip to Memphis and New Orleans.

Noel still does not have a return date set but he will be out at least through December 11th. Upon his return, he will be rejoining a front court that is loaded with talent right now, which will limit his potential.
