Andrew Wiggins Headshot

Wiggins provided 20 points (8-19 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-7 FT), two assists and one steal over 32 minutes in Saturday's 112-100 loss to the Trail Blazers.

On a night where the Timberwolves looked a bit on the sluggish side after giving up 130 points in an overtime loss to the Lakers on Friday, Wiggins' rather modest point total served as a team high. The 22-year-old has scored 20 points or more in six consecutive games, although Saturday marked his first game without a rebound since back on Dec. 23 versus the Kings. Factoring in Saturday's production, Wiggins is averaging 21.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals across 37.6 minutes in 12 March contests.

Michael Saunders Headshot

Saunders (hand) played in a minor league game Saturday and had three at-bats, Ryan Lawrence of the Philly Voice reports.

Saunders left Friday's Grapefruit League game after being hit in the right hand, but the move was purely precautionary. The veteran outfielder will open the season as the Phillies' starter in right field.

Cameron Rupp Headshot

Rupp went 0-for-3 and left four runners on base in Saturday's 3-3 tie with the Red Sox.

A tough game for Rupp, who has just five hits in 31 at-bats this spring. Despite the slow start, Rupp is at no risk of losing his job to anyone. However, he will need to produce during the regular season to hold off top prospect Jorge Alfaro at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, who waiting for his opportunity in the majors.

Colton Sissons Headshot

Sissons scored two more goals with a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 7-2 win against the Sharks.

The 23-year-old said after the game that his confidence is growing and that's evident with the three goals over his past two games. Still, he has a long way to go before he is worth scooping up in most seasonal fantasy formats. He just hasn't scored consistently enough this season, but perhaps that will change soon.
5:16 am (EST)
James Neal Headshot

Neal scored a pair of power-play goals on his only two shots of the game in Saturday's 7-2 rout of the Sharks.

After a total of just four goals in a 30-game span from Dec. 22 to March 9, the light is going off for Neal again. He has five goals over his past seven outings. He has 20 or more goals in each of his nine NHL seasons, but his 40 points this year is a far cry from the 58 points he posted a season ago.
5:14 am (EST)
Viktor Arvidsson Headshot

Arvidsson posted a shorthanded goal, a power-play assist and a plus-1 rating in Saturday's 7-2 victory against the Sharks.

Arvidsson has been one of the hottest players in the league and he continues to score in different ways. That's his second shorty of the month. He has goals in four of his past five games, and a total of seven goals with 10 points in March. He entered the season with just eight goals in 62 career games, but he has doubled that total since the beginning of February.
5:11 am (EST)
Ryan Johansen Headshot

Johansen picked up a pair of assists on the power play in Saturday's 7-2 rout of the Sharks.

Johansen snapped a three-game point drought with the two helpers, as he continues to be a hard player to read this season. The veteran picks up points in bunches, so perhaps this is the start of another hot streak. The Islanders, his next opponent Monday, hope that's not the case.
5:07 am (EST)
Colin Wilson Headshot

Wilson finished with three assists and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 7-2 win against the Sharks.

Wilson went 12 straight games without a multi-point game, now he has two or more points in each of his past two outings. He started the season rather slowly, but he is now up to five goals with 13 points over his past 17 games. That's not bad production for those in fantasy pools of 12 or more teams.
5:04 am (EST)
Craig Smith Headshot

Smith posted three assists with a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 7-2 victory against the Sharks.

Smith has caught fire over the past three games, posting six assists with a plus-8 rating. He is showing some signs of life down the stretch for the red-hot Predators, but Smith is nothing more than a plug-and-play option in deeper seasonal pools at this point.
5:01 am (EST)
Joe Pavelski Headshot

Pavelski was scoreless with two blocked shots, a hit and two minor penalties in Saturday's 7-2 loss against the Predators.

Pavelski was playing in his 800th NHL game, but it's not one he will want to watch on video. The veteran has no goals and just one assist over his past six games. He and the other big guns for the Sharks have been shooting blanks lately, totaling just seven goals during their six-game losing streak.
