Monday was a career-high for Schroder as he came off the bench and gave the Hawks the boost their offense needed to make things tight in the middle parts of the game. He had his best game by far but he did turn the ball over five times and rack up five fouls in the 29 minutes he was on the court. Jeff Teague is in no danger of losing more minutes to Schroder unless this happens again in Game 2 but even reserves can have career nights every once in a while too.
Horford had trouble finding his stroke on Monday night shooting just .308 from the field. He was in foul trouble much of the night and wound up just one shy of fouling out of the game. He did still manage to fill up the stat sheet pretty solidly however. Horford is having a down playoffs compared to the regular season averages with just 12.5 PPG compared to the 15.2 from the regular season but he is still finding ways to contribute in multiple categories in just about every game.
When Nunez does play, he typically produces, but his fantasy value is much higher when hitting closer to the top of the order. He hit first long ball of the season tonight, but his biggest fantasy asset is his speed. He makes for a quality DFS play when hitting near the top of the order and allowing bigger bats like Miguel Sano and Joe Mauer to drive him home. He is 1-for-2 in his career off Colin McHugh with a home run.
