Mock Draft Army Recap & Early ADP
Howard Bender

Dwyane Wade is reportedly courting outside offers as talks with the Heat stall.

In what figures to be an already entertaining free agency period, this adds to the intrigue. At age 34, Wade is coming off a season where he played 74 games, and averaged 19 points, 4.6 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game. It is hard to envision Wade not ending his career in a Heat uniform, but if he does sign elsewhere, it will be with a serious contender.

Lorenzo Cain has a hamstring strain at this point. He'll be further evaluated on Wednesday.

Cain tweaked the hamstring hustling to first base and had to leave the game. On the season, Cain is putting up a .291/.337/.418 line, with eight home runs, 39 RBI, and six stolen bases. More will be known after the game, but it is a fair bet to say he will be day-to-day.

Caleb Joseph set to join Orioles Thursday in Seattle.

Joseph will catch one more game in rehab before joining the team on the roadtrip. On the season, Joseph is hitting a light .182/.239/.212 on the season, and offers very little in fantasy.

Joe Pederson was removed from Tuesday's game with a shoulder injury.

Pederson was 1 for 3 with an RBI before his early exit. He hurt the shoulder hitting the wall making a grab in the outfield, so look for a status update after the game.

Jace Peterson went 1-for-4 with a solo homerun in Tuesday’s 5-2 loss to the Indians.

Peterson makes for a nice real world player, but not so much in fantasy. His home run was just his second on the year and he is surrounded by an abysmal cast. Perhaps his .347 OBP would come in handy on another team, but that just isn’t the case right now.

Jose Ramirez went 2-for-4 with two steals and two RBI in the Indians 5-2 win over the Braves Tuesday.

Ramirez is an underrated play across all formats. He walks just a hair under 8% of the time while striking out only 10% of the time. That makes for an ideal split especially when you consider that the majority of his value is predicated upon his ability to get on base, which he does at a rate over .350. If you need middle infield help, Ramirez should be on your radar.

Corey Kluber allowed two runs on three hits while walking one and striking out seven over eight innings in the Indians 5-2 win over the Braves Tuesday.

Kluber has been on a roll his past two starts allowing only six hits while striking out 16 in 17 innings. Most of his success can be attributed to his very impressive 4.68 K/BB rate. Kluber is one of the few pitchers you can start with confidence against just about any major league team at any park……except Coors. He’ll make his next start Sunday in Toronto.
