Will Fuller Headshot

Will Fuller (hip) was a full participant at Thursday's practice.

This is an upgrade for Fuller over a limited status at Wednesday's session and has him trending in the right direction for a big divisional game on Sunday against the Colts. Fuller has been inconsistent this season, as rookie wideouts tend to be, and it hasn't helped that Brock Osweiler has struggled to throw the ball consistently too. He should be a go for Sunday's game and draws a favorable matchup against a pitiful Colts pass defense that has trouble stopping the deep ball.

Koji Uehara Headshot

Koji Uehara is close to signing with the Cubs.

Uehara had his offer from the Red Sox taken off the table earlier in Winter Meetings after Boston made the trade to acquire Tyler Thornburg from the Brewers. The soon-to-be 42-year-old reliever had a rough year of it in 2016 with his highest ERA in years despite a near career-best K/9 of 12.1. Chicago is making it clear that they are trying to improve on their bullpen, which was considered the weakness of their team last season, by first trading for Wade Davis and now reaching out to Uehara. If he joins the Cubs, the eighth inning is the likeliest spot for him to pitch in and could pick up a few saves here or there if Davis needs a day off, or can't go for another reason.

Spencer Dinwiddie Headshot

Nets signed Spencer Dinwiddie.

The deal is a three-year partially guaranteed contract for the previously free agent point guard. He was a prospect in the 2014 draft that slipped to the second round due to a recovery from an ACL injury and ultimately went to Detroit. However he has played just 46 total games over the last two years for the Pistons and was with Chicago in the preseason. The Nets are clearly just grasping at straws here for a guy who may not make it on the floor for the NBA team and maybe stuck in the D-League for the time being.

Isaiah Thomas Headshot

Isaiah Thomas (groin) has been ruled out for Friday's game.

The shifty PG is dealing with a "unpredictable" groin strain as Head Coach Brad Stevens put it, and even received a PRP injection to make it heal faster. Marcus Smart is in line for another start following his great outing on Wednesday in the role, Terry Rozier also had a great performance too and could see similar minutes.

Mark Ingram Headshot

Mark Ingram (toe) did not practice on Thursday.

Ingram played through the toe injury in Week 13 and is possibly set to do the same again in Week 14 against Tampa, however the DNP Thursday could put a kink in that plan. Ingram had been practicing the first part of the week so it's possible that something flared up in the digit or he is just getting rest ahead of the walkthrough on Friday. In any case, his status should be watched closely for those owners who want to play him against a gettable Bucs defense in the opening week of the playoffs, or final week of the regular season.

Marc Gasol Headshot

Marc Gasol (groin) is questionable for Thursday's game.

Gasol was a monster in the minutes early in the week with 80 played between Monday and Tuesday's back-to-backs. He didn't appear injured at any point in the run but there is a chance that it locked up on him afterwards. It could also be that Memphis is just trying to rest their top player after that kind of work load that he is unaccustomed to. In any case, Z-Bo could see a bigger minutes night on Thursday if Gasol can't go and JaMychal Green could as well.

Tom Brady Headshot

Patriots removed Tom Brady from their injury report.

Brady has been dinged up in recent weeks, most notably with a sore, and sometimes, swollen knee. However that appears to be passed him completely now as he no longer appears on the key Thursday injury report. He was never in any real danger of not playing even if he remained on the questionable list, but in any case this is still good news. New England plays host to the Ravens on MNF in Week 14 and he should remain an elite QB1 option with playoffs getting underway for most leagues this week.

Julian Edelman Headshot

Patriots remove Julian Edelman from their injury report.

With all of the other injuries in the receiving/pass catching core of the Pats, it's good news to see Edelman listed as fully healthy for the Week 14 game against Baltimore. He has been the favorite target of Brady once again this year, however the numbers don't quite match his normal output. He is still a good play in standard and better in PPR leagues though not as the locked in WR2 he has been in the past.
