Joel Anthony Headshot

Spurs plan on signing Joel Anthony to a 10-day contract.

The Spurs have signed Joel Anthony to a 10-day contract after Pau Gasol underwent surgery on his hand. LaMarcus Aldridge will likely see most of the playing time at Center considering he's the starter, but Dewayne Dedmon could see some extra work as well with Anthony in the mix. Depending on how long Gasol is out, Anthony could stick with the Spurs long-term.

Jon Leuer Headshot

Update: Jon Leuer (knee) will give it a go on Saturday.

Leuer has missed Detroit's last 5 games, but plans on playing Saturday night against Washington. Tobias Harris has been starting in Leuer's place and head coach Stan Van Gundy has remained committed to Harris as the starter. Harris has averaged 18.2 PPG with Leuer out so Leuer may not get his starting job back as he's eased back into the lineup.

Richaun Holmes Headshot

Richaun Holmes has been recalled from the D-League and will be active for Saturday's game.

Holmes was recalled from the D-League, but don't be surprised if he's sent back down again after a game or two with Philadelphia. Joel Embiid had a couple of scary falls Friday night and the 76ers have ruled him out for Saturday night's game in Atlanta. Holmes simply gives Philly some depth in the front court, but he likely won't see much playing time.

Ed Davis Headshot

Ed Davis (wrist) has been ruled out of Saturday's game.

Davis previously missed Wednesday's game with an ankle injury, but now it appears he'll miss Saturday's game against Boston with a wrist injury. Davis only sees about 16-18 minutes of action per game so he doesn't come with much fantasy value. The minutes made available by his absence could go to Meyers Leonard, Evan Turner, Festus Ezeli, or Noah Vonleh depending on what kind of lineup Portland wants to go with.

Avery Bradley Headshot

Update: Avery Bradley (Achilles) could miss up to an entire week of action according to head coach Brad Stevens.

Bradley has already been ruled out for Saturday's game against Portland. This will be Bradley's 6th missed game since January 7th. Marcus Smart will likely get the start at SG and should see a good amount of minutes. I wouldn't go so far to say that Smart is a nifty DFS option as he's been pretty terrible since entering the starting rotation. Bradley is still listed as day-to-day, but the Celtics are now saying that he'll likely miss another week. Marcus Smart will probably continue to get the start at SG.

Jonas Jerebko Headshot

Update: Jonas Jerebko (cold) is out for Saturday's game.

Jerebko came down with a cold Saturday morning and has been ruled out for tonight's game against Portland. Jerebko is only averaging 16 minutes of action per game so he doesn't hold much fantasy value, but the minutes made available by his absence could be split amongst Jae Crowder and Jaylen Brown.

James Young Headshot

James Young (ankle) will be available for Saturday's game.

Young's been dealing with an ankle injury, but he's been active for Boston's most recent games. Jonas Jerebko is Out for Saturday's game against Portland so Young could see an uptick in minutes if Crowder slides over to PF and Young steps in at SF. He's only averaging 13 minutes of playing time per game so it's a bit of a risky DFS play especially considering his ankle injury.

Andrew Luck Headshot

Colts Genenal manager Ryan Grigson has been fired.

Grigson has been fired after 5 years with the Indianapolis Colts. The defense has been a point of weakness for the Colts during Grigson's time and the team failed to address the need in a big way by constantly spending most of their salary cap on offensive talent to piece with Andrew Luck. The Colts failed to make the postseason for the 2nd straight year so it was clear a change needed to be made.

Jonas Jerebko Headshot

Jonas Jerebko (cold) is probable for Saturday's game.

Jerebko apparently came down with an illness Saturday morning, but should be able to play in Saturday's game against Portland. Jerebko only sees about 12-16 minutes of action per game so even if he was 100% he wouldn't be a heavy favorite in terms of fantasy.
