Nick Vannett Headshot

Seahawks expect to have Nick Vannett back for Week 4.

The Seahawks rookie tight end was inactive for Week 3 but he's trending in the right direction for Week 4. His presence could be irrelevant for the offense, however, if Jimmy Graham can go out and have another Week like he did during Week 3. Vannett is buried on the depth chart and isn't fantasy relevant.

Thomas Rawls Headshot

Seahawks stated it is unnecessary to place Thomas Rawls on injured reserve at this time.

Let's not rule out the possibility of Rawls ending up on the IR, however. If you read between the lines, the Seahawks stated the IR wasn't necessary at this time, but if things don't get better, it's definitely a possibility. Christine Michael has grabbed the job and ran with it, however. So while await to hear what happens with Rawls in the upcoming weeks, Michael will continue to work as the team's primary back.

Greg Hardy Headshot

Greg Hardy was arrested on Monday for possession of a controlled substance.

And that'll all but wrap up Greg Hardy's career in the NFL as things continue to get worse for the defensive end. Hardy just can't stay out of trouble no matter what and because of it, it's only a matter of time before he's out of football for good or worse. Hardy must clean up his act or something far worse than losing his job will happen.

Sammy Watkins Headshot

Bills are unsure if Sammy Watkins (foot) will be ready to play in Week 4.

For most of the last two seasons, it seems as if the Bills are never sure if Watkins will suit up for them on a week-to-week basis. Sure he managed to play 13 games last season but most of them were at less than 100-percent, if not all of them. He's already missed a game this season and Tyrod Taylor and the aerial attack looked very passive without Watkins in the lineup. They need him going forward if they're going to continue to grow as an offense and win more games. Watkins is a solid WR2 option when healthy.

Aledmys Diaz Headshot

Aledmys Diaz left the Cardinals to be with the family of Jose Fernandez.

Despite the fact that the Cardinals are in the midst of a playoff hunt, there are things that are bigger than baseball. Diaz, like Fernandez, is of Cuban descent. Fernandez even went to the lengths of saying Diaz' father and uncle helped shape him into the player he became. Diaz and Fernandez remained close despite the fact they played for two different organizations. Consider Diaz day-to-day as we're sure he won't rush back as he faces this reality of a tragic event that resulted in the death of one of his closest friends.

Alex Bregman Headshot

Alex Bregman was going through a full pre game routine on Monday and has a chance to return this week.

After the original diagnosis came out about Bregman, it seemed as if he was lost for the year. Although he won't contribute from a fantasy standpoint for the remainder of this season, Bregman could help the Astros sneak into the postseason if he does in fact return. Bregman had just hit his stride in the big leagues hitting .316 in the month of September.

Dre Kirkpatrick Headshot

Dre Kirkpatrick (hamstring) did not practice on Monday.

Kirkpatrick has really been limited through three games and that's absolutely because of the hamstring. He's played in each contest, but maybe it's time he faces reality and takes a week or two off. He has just five tackles and although he doesn't have an interception, he hasn't performed particularly well thus far.

Tyler Eifert Headshot

Tyler Eifert (ankle) was limited at Monday's practice.

Despite being limited, it's still a very good sign that Eifert is practicing. Bengals tight ends have just 10 catches through three games and nobody is over 100 yards or has scored a touchdown. Eifert was the Bengals go-to receiver in the red zone last year and that's on a team with A.J. Green. When Eifert returns, the Bengals aerial attack should settle in but they need him back. He's a top-tier TE when healthy.

Marcel Reece Headshot

Raiders have released Marcel Reece.

And we thought things hit rock bottom for Reece back in December when he was slapped by the league with a four game suspension for PED use. This definitely kicks that in the rear end as the seven-year veteran will be looking for a new team to catch on with. Reece scored 15 times for the Raiders during his tenure with the team and was always a reliable pass catching back. He'll find a new home rather quickly.

Dante Exum Headshot

Dante Exum (knee) said he has no limitations as training camp nears.

After missing the entire 2015-'16 campaign, Exum is fully healthy and ready to contribute to a young, fun Jazz team. Exum will likely head into the season working as the team's backup point-guard behind George Hill and even get some burn at shooting-guard as well. Exum shouldn't be worth much consideration in your upcoming fantasy basketball drafts.
