The former first overall pick has tried several times to revive his career, but his knees will not allow it. It is hard to call him a bust since his lack of performance is caused by injuries. He joins the list of pros who had all world potential, but whose bodies failed them.
Treadwell has not been targeted on the year, and is hoping to be full go in Week 8. So far, the first rounder has been one of the bigger busts of the draft. He is still worth a stash in dynasty, but is way off the seasonal radar until he actually gets in the lineup and gets the ball thrown to him.
Carter figures to be replaced by Taiwan Jones, who was brought in after Geno Smith being placed on IR. Neither player has a huge impact on the Jets' defense, as they have been bad so far in 2016.
Hunter was just waived by the Celtics earlier in the week, so his unemployment did not last long. He more than likely will not suit up Thursday for the Bulls, and his role on the team is not certain at this point. Wait and see how he falls into the rotation before counting on him in seasonal or DFS. At this point, he does not figure to get a lot of minutes.
His status in Thursday's practice is a sign he will probably play Sunday. For fantasy, he has yet to make a consistent impact as a Bill, and is not worth starting outside of the deepest of leagues.
Since Cook did not practice on Wednesday as well, his status for Week 8 does not look promising. Richard Rodgers will still be the lead dog at TE, but is not a consideration in fantasy. Justin Perillo could see an increase in reps, but is not relevant either.
Gabriel was inactive in Week 7 but appears to be full go in Week 8. He sits pretty far down on the depth chart, and does not figure to get the reps to be a fantasy contributor, as his 8 receptions so far in 2016 suggest.
Grant sits behind Rajon Rondo and Michael Carter-Williams, so his services will not be needed most nights as long as they are healthy. Grant only becomes fantasy relevant if injuries open up playing time for him. Ignore him for now in fantasy.
