NFL Draft: Way Too Early 2017 Prospect Watch
Dom Murtha

Hassan Whiteside (knee strain) received treatment and went through walk through on Wednesday.

Whiteside hurt his knee early in the first quarter of Game 1 but was able to return and give the Heat an effective 39 minutes. Whitened will undoubtedly suit up for Game 2 for the Heat. Whiteside's return to action after straining his knee definitely showed teams that will show interest in him this offseason that he's taken leaps and bounds as a player.

Dwyane Wade (knee bruise) received treatment and went through walk through on Wednesday.

We've seen Dwyane Wade play through worse during the regular season so there's no doubt in anyone's mind he'll be ready to go for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals against the Raptors. Wade scored 24 points in the Heat Game 1 overtime victory. Wade has had an outstanding playoff run up until this point and it doesn't seem like that's going to change anytime soon with Wade's ability to get by anyone Toronto decides to put him up against.

Matt Adams is not in the Cardinals starting lineup on Wednesday.

Adams will get Wednesday off as Yadier Molina will man first base. After the 2013, 2014 seasons, we though Adams was primed for a long career as the Cardinals first basemen. He took three steps backwards in '15 and is now in a timeshare between he and Brandon Moss. He's worth virtually nothing in fantasy.

Matt Carpenter is not in the Cardinals starting lineup on Wednesday.

Carpenter will get a rare off day on Wednesday as Ruben Tejada will start at third. Carpenter hasn't had the best start at the dish in 2016 but he still remains a threat at the top of the order as his on-base percentage sits at a very respectable .372.

Aledyms Diaz is leading off for the Cardinals on Wednesday.

If there is a favorite for rookie of the year after the month of April, Diaz is definitely in the lead. His average currently sits at .388 and that's after a 2-for-15 slump. Diaz will leadoff with Matt Carpenter out of the lineup and start at shortstop.

J.T. Realmuto is leading off for the Marlins again on Wednesday.

For the second day in a row -- second time of his career -- Realmuto will bat leadoff. You don't see catchers hitting leadoff very often, probably not since Jason Kendall used to leadoff for the Pirates. That said, Realmuto's average sits at .309 so it's not a bad decision. Dee Gordon really left the Marlins with a huge void they weren't prepared for.
