After a very active and newsworthy weekend, I felt it was necessary to do an early week truncated edition of the Injury Report because there are some big names with some potentially big injuries impacting your fantasy baseball team. So without further adieu, here is the next edition of the walking wounded.
While the impending MLB trade deadline has fantasy owners on the edge of their seats, the injuries continue to pile up, making the end of July one of the more anxiety-filled times of the year. Having players move around from team to team isn’t always the ideal, but atleast they’re still playing. But when your guys go down this late into the season, especially those that have helped carry your team this far, it’s always troubling. Here’s a look at what’s been going on since the last MLB Injury Report…
Some high impact fantasy players are recovering nicely from previous injuries while some other big names are struggling. The Cardinals seemed to have avoided another disaster while the Red Sox are pleased with the progress of their newly acquired slugger. The Los Angeles Angels maybe in the market for a bat while they await their slugger to return. Other promising free agent signings are battling injury and age questions in this installment of the injury updates.
