As I started writing about Alex Rodriguez on this week’s Injury Report, I received a voicemail from Yankees’ general manager Brian Cashman telling me to shut the f*** up. Ok that didn’t really happen, but A-Rod is included in the Week 14 edition of the Walking Wounded.
It has been a miserable year for pitching thus far as several big names have struggled mightily. Compounding that problem is the fact that so many pitchers have been dealing with injuries. This week is no different. It is clear that you will have to be very creative if you want to remain competitive in the pitching categories because there is very little depth available in the free agent pool. Beware if you are a third baseman. They seem to be dropping like flies as some big names have gone down with serious injuries. Another week has gone by and more fantasy baseball rosters are in flux. So without further adieu, here is the next edition of the walking wounded.

Most head to head playoffs should have either wrapped this past week or are about to this week, so if you’re headed into championship week, good luck. Roto league players – you haven’t got much time left. You’re either hanging on for dear life or you’re plotting (read: hoping for) some late season surge to take over the top spot. Whichever way it is, staying on top of the latest injuries is paramount. Here’s a look at the latest news….
It’s with the sincerest of apologies to those in weekly leagues that Fantasy Baseball Injury Report was not updated on its usual Sunday, in time for lineups locking on Monday. The holiday weekend schedule seems to have thrown off some schedules here. Hopefully, you were able to continue your road to the championship without too many issues. For those still in need of some updated injury news before our usual Thursday session, we’ve got a special Tuesday edition here, so without any added fanfare, let’s get right to it…
