With pitchers and catchers set to report to spring training within the next two weeks, fantasy baseball drafts will be starting soon thereafter. In preparation for your draft, it is always a good idea to monitor players who are coming back from injuries that cost them significant time in the previous season. Let’s take a look at ten players who are on the comeback trail and could be potential sleepers in 2012.
Some high impact fantasy players are recovering nicely from previous injuries while some other big names are struggling. The Cardinals seemed to have avoided another disaster while the Red Sox are pleased with the progress of their newly acquired slugger. The Los Angeles Angels maybe in the market for a bat while they await their slugger to return. Other promising free agent signings are battling injury and age questions in this installment of the injury updates.
The early spring training injuries continue to mount up. Some more serious than others but names like Adam Wainwright, Zack Greinke, Brian Roberts to name a few are missing time early on in camp. I will continue to give weekly updates on how these players are progressing. This is valuable information leading up to your fantasy drafts. Need an update on a particular player?
