Willie Snead Headshot

Snead (hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Josh Katzenstein of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Saints head coach Sean Payton said just over a week ago that Snead is completely over the hamstring injury the wideout sustained in advance of the team's Week 4 win over the Dolphins, but based on Snead's recent activity, that might not be the case. Perhaps more so than the injury itself, Snead's conditioning might be the greater concern, as he had missed the team's first three games of the season while serving a suspension and is still easing back into peak physical form. In recognition of his lack of practice time over the last few weeks, the Saints limited Snead to just 21 offensive snaps in his season debut last week against the Lions. He should see a slight uptick in that count Sunday in Green Bay if he has in fact steered clear of an injury-related setback, but may not make for a trustworthy starting option in most fantasy settings.

Matt Bryant Headshot

Bryant (back) was limited at practice Thursday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.

Bryant didn't make his first appearance at practice until Friday last week, so his back is seemingly in better shape this time around. If he enters the weekend with a questionable designation, it would seem to indicate the Falcons are worried about his back stiffening up. Friday's injury report will relay whether this sentiment is in play for the second week in a row.

Andrei Mironov Headshot

The Avalanche assigned Mironov to AHL San Antonio for a conditioning stint Thursday, Igor Eronko of Sport-Express reports.

The 23-year-old blueliner hasn't cracked Colorado's lineup since he logged 11:24 of ice time in the team's season opener, so he'll head to the minors to play himself into game shape before returning to the big club. Mironov likely won't produce enough offense this campaign to be considered a viable option in season-long fantasy formats.
5:43 pm (EST)
Tyrell Adams Headshot

Adams was waived/injured after being claimed off waivers Wednesday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

Adams didn't pass the team's physical, so the Bills had to let him go while re-signing Deon Lacey, who was released in the original Adams move.
5:42 pm (EST)
Leonard Johnson Headshot

Johnson (hamstring) was a full practice participant Thursday after practicing on a limited basis Wednesday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

It looks like the Bills will have a full secondary again after being depleted in the Week 5 loss to the Bengals, where Johnson originally injured his hamstring before the team's Week 6 bye.
5:40 pm (EST)
Marcus Mariota Headshot

Mariota (hamstring) practiced fully Thursday.

Back-to-back full practice sessions and no setbacks in his recovery from a hamstring issue ensure that Mariota is in line to play Sunday against the Browns. Moreover, as he distances himself from the injury, the Titans are hoping that the QB's mobility will be improved in his second game back. "He had a real good day," coach Mike Mularkey said of Mariota on Thursday. "He did a lot of good things, and is moving around better than he has."
5:38 pm (EST)
E.J. Gaines Headshot

Gaines (groin) was a full practice participant Thursday after practicing on a limited basis Wednesday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

It looks like the Bills will have their starting corner again for this week's game against Tampa Bay after Gaines missed the Week 5 loss to the Bengals. Whether he'll be trying to defend passes from Jameis Winston or Ryan Fitzpatrick remains to be seen.
5:37 pm (EST)
Paul Perkins Headshot

Perkins (ribs) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice.

According to Dan Duggan of NJ.com, Perkins was just working out on the side during the portion of Thursday's practice made available to the media, but he apparently stepped up his involvement to some degree during the closed session. It's unclear how good of a chance Perkins truly has of playing Sunday against the Seahawks, but after struggling mightily in his four games prior to bruising his ribs, he'll likely be behind Orleans Darkwa and perhaps even Shane Vereen and Wayne Gallman in the pecking order at running back if he's able to suit up.
5:36 pm (EST)
Lee Stempniak Headshot

Stempniak (back, hip) is listed as an injured scratch for Thursday's road tilt with the Flames, NHL.com reports.

The New York native has yet to make his debut this season, but he's sure to be reevaluated ahead of Saturday's game against the Stars in Dallas. A perennial power-play contributor, Stempniak, once he is ready to return, should further bolster a special teams unit that has converted 23.5 percent of its man-advantage opportunities through four games to start the new hockey year.
5:32 pm (EST)
Jonathan Casillas Headshot

Casillas (neck) was held out of Thursday's practice.

Casillas is still recovering from a nerve issue in his neck and could be in line to miss a second straight game, given that he has yet to put in a full practice since suffering the injury in the Giants' Week 5 loss to the Chargers. Keenan Robinson would likely start at weak-side linebacker if Casillas is unable to play Sunday against the Seahawks.
