Julius Thomas Headshot

Thomas snatched three of four targets for 58 yards in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Jets.

Thomas started off his day with a nice 25-yard grab. The play was for more yardage than Thomas had recorded in three of five whole games in 2017. The veteran tight end has yet to score in 2017 and Sunday was his first outing with at least 30 yards. Adam Gase's attempts to rekindle the star that he coached in Denver have thus far been unsuccessful. Continue to sit him until further notice.

Jaron Brown Headshot

Brown caught two of five targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 33-0 loss to the Rams.

Brown led his team in receiving yards as the entire passing offense struggled with Drew Stanton under center after Carson Palmer broke his left arm in the second quarter. Stanton will take over the quarterback job moving forward and Brown has to compete with John Brown and J.J. Nelson for snaps and attention behind Larry Fitzgerald at the wide receiver position, so things aren't looking good for Jaron's fantasy value.

Trent Brown Headshot

Brown has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Cowboys due to a concussion,

Brown will need to clear the concussion protocol before playing in another game. As long as he remains out, Garry Gilliam will likely be tasked with protecting quarterback C.J. Beathard.
6:53 pm (EST)
Jarvis Landry Headshot

Landry reeled in seven of 11 targets for 93 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Jets.

Landry got Miami rolling early with a four-yard touchdown grab to tie the game at seven apiece. It was his third straight game with a score. Landry really got rolling in the second half, however, when Matt Moore replaced an injured Jay Cutler. Five of Landry's catches, eight of his targets, and 80 of his yards came with Moore in the game. The two might be together again on Thursday as Jay Cutler looks to bounce back on a short week. Landry caught 15 of 22 targets for 213 yards and two touchdowns in three Moore starts last season.
6:49 pm (EST)
Malcolm Subban Headshot

Subban (lower body) was placed on the injured reserve Sunday, and will miss the next four weeks.

Subban originally sustained the injury Saturday late in the third period, after stopping 37 of 38 St. Louis shots. The 23-year-old had been thriving in his role as the starting goaltender for Vegas, posting an impressive 2.06 GAA and a .936 save percentage in his three games. The good news for Subban is his injury reportedly won't require surgery, so after plenty of rest and rehab he should be 100 percent when he can take the ice again. Look for Vegas to now turn to Oscar Dansk as the next starter in the goalie carousel, and expect a mid to late November return for Subban.
6:48 pm (EST)
Deonte Thompson Headshot

Thompson, signed by the Bills on Tuesday, caught all four of his targets for 107 yards in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers.

Apparently, the Bills liked what they saw in Thompson and were more than happy to take him on after he was waived by the Bears on Oct. 11, a move that certainly paid off and was a key component to a big come-from-behind win. Aside from Sunday against a weak Tampa Bay defense, the Bills have a lousy pass offense and games like these won't come around very often for Thompson, even though the Bills might sprinkle him into the offense given he's got a speed threat to his game, something they've been looking for. Just don't expect much more than a few big plays, as Thompson has never caught more than 22 balls in a season.
6:48 pm (EST)
Milos Teodosic Headshot

Teodosic has been diagnosed with a plantar fascia injury in his left foot and ruled out definitely, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

While X-rays on Teodosic's foot came back negative, he still suffered a fairly serious injury in Saturday's win over the Suns. In his absence, Austin Rivers is expected to start alongside Patrick Beverley in the backcourt and see extended minutes, as the Clippers will likely want to keep Lou Williams in his role off the bench.
6:47 pm (EST)
Kevin Minter Headshot

Minter has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Steelers with a right elbow injury.

Minter's injury should create more work for Vincent Rey, who filled in at linebacker during Vontaze Burfict's suspension earlier this season. More will be known regarding Minter's injury in the coming days.
6:47 pm (EST)
Adrian Peterson Headshot

Peterson rushed 11 times for 21 yards and added a 12-yard reception on four targets in Sunday's 33-0 loss to the Rams.

Peterson dominated in his Cardinals debut last week, but looked more like the plodder we saw in New Orleans here. While he was the only running back to get carries for his team, Peterson's workload was limited with his team down big for most of the game. The decorated veteran will be well-rested and should have a better understanding of the playbook when we next see him after Arizona's Week 8 bye, but the team's offense will be operating without starting quarterback Carson Palmer, who broke his left arm in this one.
6:47 pm (EST)
Jay Cutler Headshot

The Dolphins reportedly believe that Cutler suffered two cracked ribs Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Per the report, the injury could sideline Cutler two to three weeks, though such a potential outcome is pending the results of further medical evaluations. At this stage though, it looks like Matt Moore is probably going to start at QB for Miami in Thursday night's game against the Ravens.
