Nuggets GM Tim Connelly said Gary Harris will remain the starter at shooting guard next season.

This should have been the easiest decision that Connelly will have to make this off-season. Harris showed himself t be one of the best young perimeter defenders in the league and was one of just seven NBA players under the age of 22 with at least 30 minutes per game last season. He also shot 57 percent from the field. Harris should continue to play 30+ minutes even with Jamal Murray as a potential scoring monster.

Celtics are expected to pick up the contract option on Jonas Jerebko.

There has been nothing official from the Celtics but it is being passed around this morning. Boston has a team option worth $5 million on Jerebko for the 2016-17 season, but we will have to see how much they want in on free agents like Kevin Durant, Hassan Whiteside, Al Horford and Dwight Howard. If the Celtics do indeed pick him up, we don't see him being worth a roster spot in standard fantasy basketball leagues.

Celtics are expected to pick up the contract option on Amir Johnson.

The option on Amir Johnson will cost the Celtics $12 million. He had a solid first season in Boston averaging 7.3 points and 6.4 boards per game. Most wanted to know what the Celtics did in the draft and that would determine whether they would pick up Johnson's option. He'll be worth a late round selection in 9 category leagues if he is indeed picked up.

Magic won’t extend a qualifying offer to Andrew Nicholson.

The 26-year-old played in just 56 games for the Magic in the 2015-16 season. He averaged 6.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and shot 47 percent from the field. The power forward will likely be picked up this off-season and given a chance to compete for a roster spot.

Steelers are optimistic Le'Veon Bell could return to action by the third preseason game.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports Le'Veon Bell (MCL, PCL) wants to able to "cut and run freely" before reporting to camp. Bell wants to be a full participant from the first whistle, but the Steelers are expected to exercise early caution. Per Fowler, Bell is unlikely to play before Week 3 of the preseason. but the team feels good about his chances of returning by that time and that's a timeline for him that certainly seems like a wise approach. Barring a setback, Bell will be ready to rock as a top-three RB1 for Week 1.

Raptors will have a tough time keeping Bismack Biyombo.

Biyombo recently said that he wants to re-sign with the Raptors, a source told USA Today's Sam Amick. According to Amick, Biyombo is willing to be patient while Toronto figures things out with DeMar DeRozan, the team's top priority in free agency. However, it's one thing to take that stance now, and it's entirely another when interested clubs are throwing as much as $15-$17M annually in your face. If DeRozan is willing to take a slight discount, it could greatly help in allowing for Biyombo's Toronto return. We'll soon learn how it will all play out.

Hornets would like to re-sign free agent Jeremy Lin.

The Hornets don't have Lin's Bird Rights, so that makes re-signing him more complicated than it otherwise could be. Lin is expected to meet with three other clubs as soon as free agency opens, and his priority this summer is to find a club that believes in him so he can find a real NBA home. "I've played six years in the NBA; I've played on five different teams. I've played for two D-League teams -- so seven cities in six years. I'm tired of boxes, I'm tired of moving companies, and I want to find a home," he said. "I want to see how good I can become," Lin said. "I'm 27, and an athlete's prime, or at least in the NBA, your prime is usually 27-30. That's when you kind of peak physically and mentally and that's where most players perform their best. So I'm going into my prime and I want to see how great I can be as a player, and that's my purpose in free agency -- so I'll just exhaust every opportunity to see which one will be the best for me."

Spurs' front-office is very high on Pau Gasol.

Gasol officially declined his $7.8 million player option for the 2016-17 season on Monday with the Bulls and will become an unrestricted free agent, Marc Stein of ESPN.com reports. This move was expected all along, so Gasol's decision to decline was only a formality and the Spurs now showing interest in him doesn't surprise many. Since he is expected to sign with a contender in need of a frontcourt presence, that could very well mean San Antonio is a potential front runner to land him. He recently announced he'll play for the Spanish national team during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, but with free agency opening up on Jul. 1, he'll likely provide a decision on where he'll play next season before leaving for Rio.
