Darin Mastroianni (left hamstring) said he’s been cleared by team doctors to return to action but hasn’t heard officially when he’ll get back in the lineup.
His greatest strength is his legs. If his hamstring starts acting up again his value plummets. With Aaron Hicks and Oswaldo Arcia knocking on the door, his days of starting may be numbered.ANALYST:
Arian Foster might need groin surgery.
Foster injured his groin during practice Tuesday and will now go through a number of tests to determine the extent of the injury. The fact that people are already saying that he may need surgery doesn't exactly instill confidence that he can heal through rest and rehab. Expect the Texans to update his condition soon. Kobe Bryant is still unsure if 2015-16 will be his final season in the NBA.
“We haven’t set anything in stone and I’ve talked about it before. But could this be the last [season]? Absolutely," Bryant told Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports. "It’s tough to decide. It’s really tough to make those types of decisions." In a nutshell, Kobe said that he won't be able to make a decision until after the season. He wants to see how much he enjoys playing still and the only time to make that determination is after the season comes to a close. It looks like this will annoyingly drag out all season and all of next summer. Analysis: Howard Bender
Ameer Abdullah is apparently impressing during the early stages of training camp.
Abdullah has been turning heads since being selected in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. The Lions' see him as the second coming of Reggie Bush in Joe Lombardi's offensive system. If that is true, he'll get the ball on average 10.5 times per game but most expect that number to be the bare minimum for Abdullah's rookie-year. The ADP on Ameer has him getting selected in the sixth round of most drafts. Analysis: Drew Phelps
