Dante Exum Headshot

Dante Exum (knee) said he has no limitations heading into training camp.

Exum has been cleared for full activities for awhile so now it’s a matter of getting into playing shape after missing all of last year. The guard will be used off the bench so his fantasy value is limited and can be avoided in drafts.

Jake Layman Headshot

Jake Layman didn't practice Tuesday due to an undisclosed injury.

More information will be known later, but not good for a rookie trying to carve out a role on a team to miss any amount of time. At this point, it doesn’t appear Layman will be a fantasy option and fantasy owners can avoid this situation.

Festus Ezeli Headshot

Festus Ezeli (knee) did some individual shooting on the side of Tuesday's practice.

Ezeli continues to deal with knee issues, but the original timetable suggested the big man would be ready for the start of the regular season. There’s not much upside so fantasy owners can avoid investing in this situation.

Cameron Payne Headshot

Cameron Payne tweaked his ankle during the Thunder's team scrimmage Tuesday.

Payne had been recovering from a fractured foot so it’s not known if this is related or how long he will have to be sidelined for. The guard is looking to take the next step in his career as he enters his second year with the Thunder, but it will be hard to carve out a role playing behind Russell Westbrook.

Shaq Lawson Headshot

Shaq Lawson (shoulder) should be able to start practicing when eligible Oct. 18.

The 16th pick in the 2016 draft had surgery back in May and is on track to at least get some playing time this season. However, his impact remains to be seen and he should only take up a roster spot in dynasty IDP formats.

Marcell Dareus Headshot

Marcell Dareus is entering a rehab program with support from the Buffalo Bills.

Dareus is currently suspended for the first four games of the season and decided this was the best course of action for his personal life and to get back on the field and continue his career. The defensive tackle had a down season in 2015, but had at least five sacks in his first four years with the Bills.

Josh McRoberts Headshot

Josh McRoberts will be limited to start camp because of a foot injury.

McRoberts has always had trouble staying healthy and it will continue this season. The power forward was in line to receive more minutes due to the latest situation with Chris Bosh, but will now have to play catch up when he is finally healthy. The Heat will use a combination of Derrick Williams, James Johnson and Udonis Haslem to fill that void.
