Jason Kipnis Headshot

Jason Kipnis (ankle) is expected to play in Game 1 of the World Series.

Kipnis is dealing with a low-ankle sprain, one suffered during the ALCS winning celebrations. He's going to be in the lineup for Game 1 and should be fine moving forward. He hit .053/.100/.211 with one homer and one RBI in 20 plate appearances in the ALCS, and will need to pick it up in order to help the Tribe take home the championship.

Darren Fells Headshot

Darren Fells (ankle) is questionable to return on Sunday.

He limped back into the locker room gingerly but was then seem working out on the sidelines to see if he can return. He had no catches before leaving and is an afterthought in the Cardinal's offense.

Cody Zeller Headshot

Cody Zeller was a full participant is practice on Sunday.

Zeller (bruised right knee) is questionable for opening night and it appears Roy Hibbert will start in his place. How long can he stay in the starting lineup? Not long. As soon as Zeller's up to full speed, he'll take his spot back and is a low-end fantasy big man.

Dwight Freeney Headshot

Dwight Freeney left Sunday's game after suffering a quad injury.

This is a hit to the Falcon's pass rush if Freeney misses any time with this quad injury.

LeSean McCoy Headshot

LeSean McCoy aggravated his hamstring injury against the Dolphins on Sunday and said he felt "100 percent" before the start of the game.

This is not surprising as McCoy has a history of hamstring injuries. The injury he was nursing coming into week 7 was more than likely not back to 100% as he had said. Mike Gillislee will start in his place if McCoy misses any time.

Nick Mangold Headshot

Nick Mangold will undergo an MRI on his ankle.

Mangold had been extremely banged up entering this game. He was down on the ground for several minutes on the Jets' second drive, and limped off extremely gingerly. He will undergo an MRI on his ankle. Losing Mangold would be a huge blow to the Jets' offense.

Aaron Lynch Headshot

Aaron Lynch injured his ankle in Week 7.

Lynch will undergo an MRI on Monday. He notched his first sack of the season, taking down Jameis Winston, before getting hurt. Lynch is the 49ers' most talented edge rusher. It's another big loss for a bad unit.
