Omer Asik Headshot

UPDATE: Omer Asik will come off the bench Saturday against the Clippers.

With Anthony Davis resting Saturday night Omer Asik is starting at Center. I wouldn't pick Asik to have a big night. Asik's play has been too inconsistent over the past month and he has just 1 double-double. He's worth rostering in season long formats, but he's a big fade in DFS with Terrence Jones in line for a big night.

Kosta Koufos Headshot

Kosta Koufos will come off the bench to start the second half.

Koufos had just 2 points in less than 10 minutes of work in the 1st half. He didn't record a single rebound so the writing was on the wall. It'll be worth paying attention to the beat writer reports for the Kings as they'll reveal more analysis going forward on the status of Koufos in the Kings rotation.

Omri Casspi Headshot

Omri Casspi started the second half Saturday.

Casspi has recorded 12 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals opposed to Koufos's 2 points. Casspi has earned the extra minutes over Koufos as he's put the Kings in position to compete against a tough defensive unit in the Utah Jazz.

Terrence Jones Headshot

Terrence Jones will start Saturday against the Clippers.

Jones is getting the start with Anthony Davis resting tonight. Jones now carries a ton of DFS potential, but unfortunately it may be too late to swap him into your lineups unless you're playing the late slate on Draft Kings or FanDuel. Jones should see a fair amount of scoring opportunities as well as rebounding chances so he's certainly an appealing play tonight.

Kemba Walker Headshot

UPDATE: Kemba Walker suffered a left knee contusion and is day-to-day.

Walker will be day-to-day going forward after suffering a knee contusion in a collision with Lebron James. Walker scored 24 points to go with 5 assists before leaving the game. Luckily the injury won't impact his long-term value in seasonal formats, but Ramon Sessions and Marco Belinelli could pick up extra minutes if Walker has to miss any time.

Kemba Walker Headshot

Kemba Walker headed back to the locker room.

It looked to be a potential knee injury, and he was in significant pain when he went down. It's safe to say he's done for the game. We will update the severity of the injury as soon as we find out more information, but hopefully this turns out to not be too serious and he doesn't miss much time.

A.J. Francis Headshot

Redskins have waived DL A.J. Francis.

The Redskins activated center Corey Lichtensteiger, and to clear the necessary roster space, the waived Francis. Francis hadn't played in a game all season.

Daniel Espinosa Headshot

Danny Espinosa has been traded to the Angels

The writing was on the wall after the Nationals traded for Adam Eaton, which indicated that Trea Turner would return to shortstop and push Espinosa to the bench. Espinosa supposedly wasn't too happy about it, and skipped the teams' annual Winterfest. The Angels desperately need infield help, so the deal makes all kinds of sense for them, and it will free up full-time at-bats for Espinosa at second base while also improving their infield defense. No word yet on the return for the Nationals, but given the state of the Angels farm system, the return isn't likely to be too great.

Jordan Reed Headshot

Jordan Reed (shoulder) is expected to play Week 14.

He's been considered questionable all week with a sprained AC joint in his shoulder. He'll no doubt be in some pain, but he's going to be out there on the field and grind through it. He was able to finish the matchup against the Cowboys in fine fashion even after injuring the shoulder, so those who find themselves in the fantasy playoffs will want to roll him out there and hope for the best. You're unlikely to have a better option in seasonal leagues. He'll be a risk/reward play in DFS, but you might be better off finding a cheaper option with a plus matchup at tight end this week.

Dante Exum Headshot

Dante Exum started at point guard Saturday.

Shelvin Mack returned to a bench role, but Exum continued to start for the ailing George Hill, who is missing his sixth straight contest. Exum isn't to be trusted at this point for any sort of consistent production.
