Sam Shields Headshot

Sam Shields says he is still having headaches stemming from his Week 1 concussion but that he wants to keep playing next season.

This is obviously an unfortunate development for Shields, as lingering effects from a concussion lasting this long is cause for plenty of concern. Hopefully the seven-year veteran can fully overcome this issue during the offseason and resume his NFL career. The Packers are reportedly assessing Shields' future with the organization now that their season has come to an end.

James Harrison Headshot

James Harrison said after Sunday's loss to the Patriots that he is not done playing yet and will return next year.

Even at age 38, Harrison showed that he can still make an impact on an NFL field. The 14-year veteran played in 15 regular season games for the Steelers in 2016, recording 53 total tackles, 5.0 sacks, two forced fumbles and one interception. Harrison also got it done in the playoffs, racking up 20 tackles, 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble over three games.

DeMar DeRozan Headshot

DeMar DeRozan (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Spurs.

The Raptors will need him if they're going to have a shot against the Spurs. That's the first game of back-to-back, with them playing the Grizzlies Wednesday night. Hopefully DeRozen's ankle doesn't swell up too bad, but if it does, Terrence Ross and Norman Powell will likely soak up his production.

Aaron Rodgers Headshot

When interviewed following Sunday's loss to the Falcons, Aaron Rodgers said the Packers need to reload and thinks the team can take a big step this offseason.

Their main focus should be their defense, which struggled all season. Adding something to their running game would certainly make a difference as well, but their defense should be to blame for the NFC Championship Game loss to the Falcons. Regardless of who, or what they add, Rodgers should come off the board next season as a top 3 QB1.

DeMar DeRozan Headshot

DeMar DeRozan is considered day-to-day with an ankle injury.

He was frustrated and reportedly had a significant limp. The Raptors don't play until Tuesday, so that gives DeRozen an extra day to heal up. If he can't go, Terrence Ross and Norman Powell will be the biggest beneficiaries.
