Matt Shoemaker has been optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake.

Shoemaker was a revelation as a rookie in 2014, but he has disappointed since. He is 1-4 with a 9.15 ERA in five starts in 2016, but if he can get things figured out in Triple-A he could be back up before long.

Craig Gentry (back) has been placed on the 15-day disabled list.

Gentry was in a platoon with Rafael Ortega in left field, but Shane Robinson will fill that role with Gentry out. Gentry has struggled in limited opportunities the last two seasons, and he may not get his job back if Robinson hits while Gentry is out.

Christian Yelich is not in Sunday's starting lineup.

The Marlins are using an outfield of Ichiro, Stanton and Ozuna on Sunday against Brewers starter Wily Peralta. Yelich is enjoying a find start to his season and fantasy owners should expect in back in the lineup for the Marlins next game.

Wilson Ramos is back with the team on Sunday.

While Ramos may be back with the team he is not in the starting lineup as Jose Lobaton is catching and batting eigth for the Nationals on Sunday.

Michael Brantley is not in Sunday's starting lineup.

Brantley is hitting just .118 since his return to the Indians lineup so he will get a day off in hopes it will help him get back on track. The Indians are using an outfield of Tyler Naquin, Lonnie Chisenhall and Rajai Davis.

Shane Robinson has been called up from Triple-A Salt Lake and is in Sunday's lineup.

Robinson is known more for his versatility and defense than anything to do with his offense so while it's great for him personally there is no fantasy relavance here.
