Russell Wilson Headshot

Russell Wilson (knee) is expected to practice Wednesday.

We heard Coach Pete Carroll say that Wilson is doing "remarkably well," despite having a sprained MCL. He also expected to see his quarterback Wednesday at practice and play in Week 4 against the Jets. "We feel like he's gonna be fine," Carroll said. He may practice on Wednesday but overall, the Seahawks will take it very early on Wilson this week. Wilson should be considered a QB2 borderline QB1 this week against that tough Jets front four.

Trent Cole Headshot

Trent Cole has been placed on Injured Reserve.

Cole signed with the Colts as a free agent on March 10, 2015. He has played in 171 career NFL games and amassed 844 tackles, 88.5 sacks, 19 passes defensed, 21 forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, one interception and seven special teams stops in his career with the Phildelphia Eagles (2005-2014) and the Indianapolis Colts (2015-16). This looks like the end of the line for Cole in Indy though, he will still earn $3 million this season but will miss out on per game roster bonuses totaling $1.015 million.

Senio Kelemete Headshot

Senio Kelemete (hamstring) is expected to have an MRI Tuesday.

The Saints signed Senio Kelemete to add depth to their offensive line behind starting guards Andrus Peat and Jahri Evans. Kelemete got a lot of first team reps at OTAs and Lelito shined as a run blocker across 13 starts last season. New Orleans would really hate to lose such quality depth along their already beat up offensive line. We will have the results when they come available.

La'el Collins Headshot

La'El Collins is seeking a second opinion from foot specialist Dr. David Porter.

The Cowboys put their big left guard La'El Collins on injured reserve with a sprained big toe in his foot. The expectation is that he'll miss 8-10 weeks but the big man is naturally looking for a second opinion with better results. Collins injured himself midway through Sunday night's Week 3 win over the Bears. Ronald Leary will be forced back into the starting lineup and might be a short-term upgrade when you look at Collin's Pro Football Focus' rank of 73 out of 75 guard qualifiers.

Caris LeVert Headshot

Caris LeVert (foot) said he's "close" to being cleared to resume full practice.

The word is that this latest surgery should fix his foot for good. We will keep our fingers crossed but having three foot fractures in his career, seems like a lot to overcome. Those injuries caused him to fall out of the NBA draft lottery. "[The doctor] took like a bone transfusion from my hip to my foot, took a bone graft from my hip and put it in my foot. Plus a bigger screw," LeVert said. The young Michigan product has all the talent in the world and can play three positions on the court. The Nets are not in any rush to put him back out there and risk further injury. He is someone to watch in deep leagues and in Dynasty.

Tyler Eifert Headshot

Tyler Eifert said he's still working through some things. Talking about "patience" and "trusting the process." He's doubtful for Week 4.

We keep hearing the word "close" when talking about Eifert's return to the field and now they say "patience" and it just gets annoying. He will be back when the team feels like he's not at risk to get hurt right away. The Bengals will probably sit him one more week given the fact that they play on Thursday night. Even if Eifert suits up, you should expect a performance like Gronkowski had last Thursday night against the Texans.

Marcell Ozuna Headshot

Marcell Ozuna told the Miami Herald he was invited by Jose Fernandez to join him on his boat that evening, but declined.

Ozuna has to be seriously shaken by the events of Saturday night when Jose Fernandez passed away in a boating accident. Just knowing what your fate would have been if he had accepted that invite. The young outfield has a batting line of .266/.321/.457 with 23 home runs, 73 RBI and 73 runs thru 145 games played this season.

Theo Riddick Headshot

Theo Riddick struggled to handle ball-carrying duties out of the backfield at Green Bay, but Lions coach Jim Caldwell said Monday he maintains faith in his running back.

Riddick has not been the primary ball carrier since his days at Notre Dame. The back is still getting used to be more than just a third down pass catching option out of the backfield. The coaching staff believes he can carry the load with the help of Dwayne Washington and Zach Zenner while Ameer Abdullah is out.

Dez Bryant Headshot

Dez Bryant is expected to have an MRI Tuesday.

Jerry Jones and the Cowboys organization do not seem overly concerned about the knee injury to their star wide-out. We will know more about his status for Week 4 against the 49ers after the MRI results are revealed. As of right now, he should be considered a WR1 especially with his matchup this week.

Eli Apple Headshot

Eli Apple is listed as questionable for Week 4 with a strained hamstring.

New York's defense has been much improved for the most part this season, but they are pretty thin with all of the injuries in the secondary. It could be another big game for Stefon Diggs Monday night if Apple cannot go.
