Mike Wallace believes he’s polished the rest of his game over the year and that the fruits of that labor will present themselves this season.

Wallace has been in the league since 2009 so it's certainly something to hear him say that he's finally polished the rest of his game in what will be his eighth NFL season. Wallace caught just 39 passes last year for the Vikings which was certainly a disappointment for anybody who drafted him after his 10 touchdown season for the Dolphins in 2014. Wallace will offer a downfield threat for the Ravens offense and Joe Flacco certainly has the arm to get him the ball so it will be interesting to see what kind of chemistry they develop as we head in to the 2016 season.

Bulls are testing the trade market for Taj Gibson.

Gibson is a great first player off the bench but all the injuries to the Bulls front court last year saw him start 55 of the 73 games in which he appeared. Despite starting the second most games of his career, Gibson averaged a three year low of 8.6 points per game. Any team looking to trade for Gibson would likely be looking to bolster their bench than their starting five.

Trevor Story only has a bruised right middle finger. He's sore and swollen, but nothing serious.

Manager Walt Weiss expressed some concern following Sunday's game that Story may have suffered a more extensive injury to his hand so this is obviously good news. He should be considered day-to-day while the swelling goes down but it looks like there will be no DL stint forthcoming.

Brandon Crawford went 2-for-5 with two RBI and one run scored against the Phillies on Sunday.

Crawford has been a solid run producer for the Giants this season, as he is now slashing .262/.336/.400 with six home runs, 44 RBI and 29 runs scored through 260 at-bats. With only six home runs at this point in the season, Crawford is unlikely to match his career-best 21 long balls set a season ago, bit he is still on track to possible beat his 84 RBI from 2015, which makes him a solid fantasy option at a surprisingly deep shortstop position this season.

Angel Pagan went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored against the Phillies on Sunday.

Pagan had himself a great series against the Phillies, as he went 8-for-13 with three doubles, four RBI and three runs scored in three games. The Giants' outfielder has always been a solid fantasy option when healthy, and is now batting .306 since returning from the disabled list back in June 14, so if available Pagan would make for a solid investment, at least until his next injury surfaces.

Johnny Cueto surrendered six runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out two batters over six innings against the Phillies on Sunday.

After allowed only two runs combined over his previous two starts, Cueto had his worst outing as a member of the Giants on Sunday as he allowed a season-high six runs through six innings, but managed to escape with a no-decision. Now sitting 11-1 with a 2.42 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and a 98:23 K:BB rate through 115.1 innings, Cueto remains one of the best pitchers to won out of the National League as he continues to shown great control of his pitches on most days. He will look to get himself back on track when he takes on the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Aaron Nola coughed up five runs on 10 hits and no walks while striking out four batters over 3.1 innings against the Giants on Sunday.

Nola has been terrible of late, having now allowed four runs or more in each of his last four starts. Now sitting 5-7 with a 4.45 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and a 99:22 K:BB rate through 91.0 innings, Nola is still someone fantasy owners will want to hold onto, but until he starts lasting longer in appearances, there is no reason to start him at this time, after failing to make it out of the fourth inning in his fourth straight start. He will look to turn his season around when he takes on the Royals on Saturday.
