Segura has been out of the Diamonbacks' starting lineup since this past Sunday due to a sore hip, but he did appear as a pinch hitter Wednesday. Phillip Gosseling has been manning second base and batting leadoff for the Diamondbacks this week.

Omar Kelly from the South Florida Sun-Sentinel expects RB Jay Ajayi to handle around 15 carries a game this season.

Ajayi was a fifth-round draft selection for the Dolphins in 2015. During his rookie year, the former Boise State star rushed for 187 yards on 49 attempts (3.8 avg.) across 9 games. This reports suggests that the Dolphins will give the young ball carrier much more of an opportunity to make an impact on offense in 2016.

Pacers will not re-sign Solomon Hill.

Hill has spent his first three NBA seasons with the Pacers after the team selected him with the 23rd pick of the 2013 draft. The 25-year-old forward started 78 games for the Pacers in 2014-15, but was relegated to mostly a reserve role this season.

Diaz blistered the baseball throughout the month of April, but has slowed a bit here in the first week of May. Ruben Tejada will start at shortstop for the Cardinals and bat eighth.
