Travis hopes to return to action on Wednesday. He hurt his shoulder during a brawl in Monday's game, and then further aggravated it swinging at a pitch later in the game. Check on his status before using him in daily lineups this week.
He is out of the lineup against the A's on Tuesday, with Mike Trout stepping in to handle the DH duties. Left handed hitter Rafael Ortega will patrol center and hit 7th with Trout hitting in the third spot in the lineup. Pujols has not missed a game since September 7th.
Davis was working over the off season to add some bulk to his frame. Hopefully for him, this is just a minor injury, and he can continue to work to be a bench option in the forecourt for Portland this season. He has serious competition to make the squad, so he needs to get back on the court soon to demonstrate his value.
Wong is going to miss another game on Tuesday, with Greg Garcia handling the duties at second base against the visiting Reds. Wong has not been a productive force this season, posting a .238/.326/.347 slash line over 311 AB, with just 39 runs and 23 RBI. He is not someone to be worried about in your daily lineups as the season winds down.
Miley is coming off a superb outing last Saturday, holding the Diamondbacks to just one earned run over eight and 2/3 innings, allowing just seven hits. That was a highlight to his season with Baltimore, though, as he had posted a 1-5 record with a 7.55 ERA since arriving in Baltimore before his last outing. He is scheduled to pitch on Saturday, and should be back in time to take his turn on the mound.
He should step right in to a defense that is reeling with injuries. He saw time with both the Raiders and Lions in 2015, and was released by New Orleans this past August. This is not an IDP you want to be targeting for your rosters, as he has limited production throughout his six year NFL career.
It was initially thought that Milwaukee Brewers OF Ryan Braun was out Tuesday for a day of rest, but it appears he is getting the night off while dealing with a wrist injury. He is being replaced by Michael Reed in left field, and the injury ins't considered to be anything serious, as he's expected to start again on Wednesday. However consider him day to day until then.
