Alex Rodriguez has left Tuesday's game with an apparent injury.

Jared Diamond of the Wall Street Journal said on Twitter that A-Rod appeared to tweak his hamstring running to first base. He was 0-for-3 at the time of his replacement. Dustin Ackley stepped into the DH spot for A-Rod.

Aroldis Chapman will be the closer as soon as his suspension is up on Monday.

This is no surprise. If you own Andrew Miller, hold on to him as he provides plenty of value even if he's not recording saves. He has been incredible so far with 16 strikeouts and no walks in 10 innings.

Update: Billy Hamilton left Tuesday's game with a jammed left thumb.

Hamilton hit lead off in Tuesday's game against San Francisco, which he has done some but he's mainly hit in the nine-hole this year. He went 0-for-2 before the injury. The Reds aren't exactly loaded with talent, so anyone who might get extra ABs in the event of an extended absence for Hamilton likely won't have any fantasy utility.

Padres will be at Tim Lincecum's showcase on Friday.

Assuming it happens. This showcase was originally slated to happen months ago. It seems like a go this time around, but who knows. And the Padres are one of up to 20 teams that may attend this showcase. San Diego would be a decent spot for Lincecum to land to for fantasy owners.

Robinson Chirinos had X-rays on his right forearm Tuesday. He showed good healing and will start light resistance exercises.

He suffered the forearm injury approximately four weeks ago, and will likely undergo a somewhat longer rehab assignment, due to the strain catching puts on a player. He is currently on the 60-day DL, and he likely will not be back in action with the Rangers until early June.

Joey Gallo is expected to be sidelined three-four weeks with Grade 1 left groin strain.

He was originally placed on the 7-day DL, but the strain is evidently more severe than originally anticipated. He has been stinging the ball in Triple-A, posting an excellent .400 OBP with 11 extra base hits in 85 at bats. He has also cut down on his strikeouts, with a 24.7% strikeout percentage this season. Unfortunately for him, even prior to this injury the depth in the Texas outfield was not making a call-up anything certain in the near future.

Jordy Mercer has left Tuesday's game in the sixth inning.

Mercer had been on a hot streak, collecting nine hits over his past six games. He had raised his BA to .326 during that stretch, from a respectable .304. Keep an eye out for more details about why he left the game against the Cubs.
