Bucs placed Jonathan Casillas (knee) on Injured Reserve, ending his season. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: Casillas suffered a knee injury in Sunday's loss to the Panthers. He will be replaced on the roster by Danny Lansanah who was on the Jets practice squad.

Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart did not participate in practice on Wednesday. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: A routine day off for Stewart. He will likely practice in a limited fashion on Thursday then in full on Friday. He is really not usable in Fantasy Leagues at this point in the season.
RB - Car
Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams has returned to practice on Wednesday. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: DeAngelo missed last weeks game against the Bucs but appears to be better off for it. The Panthers have a huge task this week in keeping up with the Saints in the Superdome so they will need all hands on deck for this pivotal matchup.

Bucs CB Darrelle Revis (chest, shoulder) practiced on Wednesday. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: If any of you have seen the video of Revis trying to explain his injury to the Bucs medical staff last Sunday, you have to question if this guy really wants to be on the football field or not. He looked like Ralphie from A Christmas Story explaining how his glasses got broken after the BB gun backfired on him.
WR - TB
Bucs WR Vincent Jackson was not at practice during the portion open to the media. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: V-Jax is just getting a routine day off today. The Bucs want him ready to go for what is a very tasty matchup this week against the Bills. He needs to be started in all Fantasy formats this week.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said he is 'hopeful' that Dennis Pitta will be able to play on Sunday vs the Vikings. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: I am 'hopeful' the one day NFL Head Coaches can magically become honest with the media and their fans. The Dennis Pitta song and dance has become tiresome and makes me wonder why we all care so much about Dennis effing Pitta?

Jimmy Smith was cleared by doctors after going through the NFL concussion protocol. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: It's surprising that both Smith & Le'Veon Bell have cleared the concussion protocol so quickly after such a nasty helmet to helmet collision on Thanksgiving Night.

Lions RB Reggie Bush did not participate in practice on Wednesday. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
WR - Det
Lions WR Calvin Johnson dis not participate in practice on Wednesday. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: Calvin Johnson only practices on Wednesday before a Thursday Game. Otherwise he gets a day off as most veterans of his caliber do these days. Megatron has got to be licking his chops ahead of his matchup with the defensively challenged Eagles this Sunday.

Christian Ponder (concussion) is still not cleared to practice. Matt Cassel will 'most likely' start for the Vikings against the Ravens. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: It is hilarious that Josh Freeman isn't even in the discussion for starting this weeks game against the Ravens. How bad has he had to practice to not be even mentioned in the same breath as Christian Ponder or Matt Cassel?
TE - NE
Patriots TE Michael Hoomanawanui (knee) returned to practice Wednesday. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: If you can properly pronounce his last name then you are a better person than I am.

Patriots LB Brandon Spikes was not present at practice on Wednesday. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)

Patriots WR Aaron Dobson was not present at practice on Wednesday. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: With Kenbrell Thompkins also banged up, this is not looking good for the Patriots who face a reasonably tough defensive match-up with the Browns this week. With Joe Haden likely to be floating between covering Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman, the rest of the defense may only need to be concerned with Rob Gronkowski. While that in itself is a daunting task, not having Dobson on the field means the Patriots will do less stretching of the field and try for shorter routes. There's obviously time for Dobson to return to practice before Sunday's game, so don't count him out just yet. Just be wary of a potential change in game-plan should he be inactive.

Browns coach Rob Chudzinski said he'll name his starter later in week. Jason Campbell and Brandon Weeden have been cleared for activity, but not to practice. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: Owners of Josh Gordon are anxiously awaiting some word that either Campbell or Weeden will get the nod to resume practice but with neither one looking like a beacon of health right now, the chances seem pretty slim. Campbell's symptoms have lasted for over two weeks now so he is seeming like an even longer shot than Weeden. Until you hear that one or the other is at practice, you have to assume that life in Cleveland will go on without them.

Giants WR Hakeem Nicks is not listed on the Giants' injury report this week. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: Every week, fantasy owners keep asking themselves if this is the week Nicks actually performs up to task, and while you'd like to think that this week's match-up with a horrific San Diego pass defense will afford him the opportunity, the same was said about last week's match-up with an equally inept Washington secondary. The bottom line is that you just can't trust Nicks. Not now. Not in the fantasy playoffs. Victor Cruz is the team's No. 1 receiver and Reuben Randle has steadily seen more targets. If you simply have no one else, then sure, he's worth a look, but don;t expect much out of him as he seems to have mentally checked out from the Giants already.

Sean Lee and Justin Durant are expected to practice in some fashion this week as they recover from hamstring injuries. Durant said he did a lot of running Monday and believes he'll be ready to play Week 14 at Chicago. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)

The Buffalo Bills have released RB Tashard Choice. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: This hardly comes as a big shock as Choice was rarely used by the Bills and there was little hope of him seeing any legitimate time on the field. The depth is better spent elsewhere on the team. There's a remote chance that Choice gets picked up elsewhere for the final stretch of the season, but even then, his fantasy -value barely exists.

T Luke Joeckel (ankle) will have his cast removed and begin weight-bearing exercises Wednesday. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)

Josh Evans (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 14. Winston Guy will get the start in his place. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)

Tony Romo's December record as quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys is 11-15, and as the team enters the final month of the season, owner/general manager Jerry Jones is mindful of that and said it has to change for the better, Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas reports.'I think it's real and I don't mean to be trite,' Jones said Tuesday morning on his radio show on KRLD-FM in Dallas. 'You can probably tie that [into] why we have had disappointments in December. It's hard to build up in this time of the NFL. It's hard to build up enough edge to play at that level during December, so you better be moving or having your arrow going up rather than going down.''We can't expect to be where we all want to be unless we play better than we've certainly played the last two years,' Jones said. 'And we've had a Tony Romo playing well, really the last two years and haven't gotten there. (RotoInfo.com) (12/04)
Expert Advice: So is Jerry Jones saying that Tony Romo isn't clutch or that the rest of the team continues to let him down in the waning months of the season? Either way, it's difficult to imagine that this is the kind of pep talk Jason Garrett or the players want to hear. The Cowboys have so many shortcomings on defense that any offensive struggles are likely secondary on the priority list of things to change. On one hand, you can appreciate an owner trying to take an active role with the day to day operations, but on the other, is his constant need to interfere with the GM and the coaches really going to prove positive in the end? Probably not.
