A couple weeks ago it was noted how sharp the pricing was on both FanDuel and DraftKings. Sharp pricing refers to how closely the DFS pricing coincides with how the market ranks the players. The reason this is important is so much of DFS is finding players you feel are below value and quite frankly, you aren’t usually the only one. Sharper pricing results in fewer obvious choices.

This is an interesting week as wide receiver pricing is extremely sharp while there are bargains to be had at the other spots. There are a couple of manners to approach this scenario.

  1. You can first study the receivers and identify the few you feel are the best plays and build your lineup around those since there are great plays across all price points at the other position.
  2. You can pick out the vest best plays at QB, RB and TE then fill in with WR since there isn’t a ton of difference with respect to bang-for-the-buck at the position.

Either way, you’re first looking at the big picture to best take advantage of the pricing quirks. But before that, be sure to further hone down the ensuing lists using the myriad of tools at the Fantasy Alarm DFS Playbook.
