Thanksgiving is in the rearview mirror as we prepare to turn the calendar to December.  This is the final week of the regular season for many fantasy leagues so it is critical you make smart decisions when setting your lineups today.  Unfortunately there are players who will be game-time decisions so it is a matter of whether you want to be cautiously optimistic or ultra conservative by not taking any chances.  So without further adieu, here is the next edition of the walking wounded.

Arian Foster (RB-HOU)

Arian Foster is expected to play as per head coach Bill O’Brien.  Foster has been dealing with a groin injury and missed the past couple games which was crippling for fantasy owners.  He is clearly a RB1 and all signs point towards him taking the field for Week 13.  This relegated Alfred Blue back to your bench.

Julius Thomas (TE-DEN)

Julius Thomas was limited in practice on Friday and will be a game-time decision for Denver.  Unfortunately for fantasy GM’s, the Broncos play the Sunday night game so a decision will have to be made well before kickoff of that game.  It is a big showdown in the AFC West so chances are that Thomas will be on the field.  Unless you have a solid backup, put Thomas in your lineup and hope for the best.

Roddy White (WR-ATL)

Roddy White is expected to play today against Arizona despite not practicing all week.  It is encouraging that Falcons head coach Mike Smith expressed confidence that White will play.  Atlanta is incredibly in first place and needs him out there, so put White in your lineup even though he is going up against arguably the best secondary in the league.

Larry Fitzgerald (WR-ARZ)

Larry Fitzgerald was limited in practice and is listed as questionable for today’s game against Atlanta.  He will be a game-time decision which isn’t helpful for fantasy GM’s.  If he was 100% then he would be a great option against the Falcons’ defense, but even if he plays he will be limited which makes him a suspect choice for your lineup this week.

Jerick McKinnon (RB-MIN)

The Vikings will be without Jerick McKinnon in their backfield on Sunday as he will be sidelined with a back injury.  This makes Matt Asiata a possible RB2 or Flex option if you are desperate.  Ben Tate should not be in your lineup so roll with Asiate who has a propensity for scoring touchdowns despite a pedestrian yards per carry average.

Charles Clay (TE-MIA)

Charles Clay is listed as doubtful for Monday night’s game against the Jets as he continues to suffer from both a hamstring and knee injury.  Clay could have been a viable fantasy option against an awful Jets’ defense that allowed 38 points to Buffalo last week.  While he has not been officially rules out yet, it is too risky to start him this week.

Dwayne Allen (TE-IND)

Dwayne Allen has been officially ruled out for Week 13 by the Colts as he continues to deal with an ankle injury.  This makes Coby Fleener a possible streaming option at tight end with Indianapolis matching up against a bad Redskins’ team.

Jordan Cameron (TE-CLE)

Jordan Cameron is officially out for Week 13.  This should come as no surprise to fantasy GM’s as Cameron is not worth owning in any league at this point.
