There are 5 games on the schedule for Saturday December 27th.  It starts off with Cincinnati vs. Virginia Tech.  Cincinnati has a high powered offense but really spreads the ball around to the receivers.  Gunner Kiel has been very good this year when healthy but has struggled with injuries.  The coaches are not afraid to use his back-up in Munchie Legaux at times so that makes me avoid Kiel.  Virginia Tech sports a decent defense but really lack any firepower on offense.  The only players worth targeting are J.C. Coleman and Bucky Hodges.  Coleman is the last man standing after injuries in the Tech backfield so he has been getting most of the carries the last 3 games.  Hodges is the only consistent target going on Saturday at the tight end spot.

Arizona St vs. Duke is projected to be the highest scoring game of the day.  The key to this game is which Anthony Boone shows up.  Boone can be inconsistent and this game will get ugly quickly if he struggles. Boone is a GPP play when paired with the only DFS target for Duke which s Jamison Crowder. Even if Boone struggles, Crowder will get plenty of targets.  Arizona St has plenty of weapons on their offense.  Taylor Kelly is not a bad option but Arizona St really does not throw a ton unless they have too so feel the upside of Kelly is limited.  D.J. Foster is a great target on Draftkings with his pass catching ability.  Jalen Strong has been very consistent despite the offense not seeing a ton of high volume in the passing game.   Strong along with Kelly would actually benefit greatly if Duke can hang around in this game.  ASU is favored by 7.5 but don't think it will stay that close.

Miami takes on South Carolina in the Independence Bowl with the best running back going on the day being Duke Johnson. Johnson should run all over the Gamecocks.  A few other players to keep on eye are Phillip Dorsett and Standish Dobard.  The best weapon in the passing game for Miami was Clive Walford but he is out of this game with a knee injury.  Dobard takes over for him and was involved in the Pitt game where Walford was injured where he had 3 catches.  Dorsett is the big play WR who can exploit the weak South Carolina Defense.  Miami has a decent run defense so Dylan Thompson will be throwing plenty.  His favorite target is Pharoh Cooper so they should  put up some decent numbers.

Penn St will take on Boston College in the Pinstripe Bowl in Yankee Stadium.  This game has next to nothing to get excited about.  The only player to care about is DaeSean Hamilton if you want exposure to every game of the day.  The over/under is only 40 so not much to be excited about.  Christian Hackenberg has some talent but Penn St can't protect him and his confidence is shot.  Tyler Murphy is the only weapon for Boston College but the Nittany Lion defense really destorys the run.  Murphy is a running QB but won't have any where to go.

The last game of the evening is Nebraska and USC in the Holiday Bowl.  USC is only a 7 point favorite but I would be surprised if Nebraska can keep this game close.  USC will be able to do whatever they want on offense.  Cody Kessler will be able to find Nelson Agholor and JuJu Smith whenever he wants.  Javorius Allen should also have a decent day but watch out for Justin Davis. Davis was playing every other drive the last game vs. North Dame and is hafl the price.  Both should be productive but will take Davis for the discount.  For Nebraska,  Ameer Abdullah is a stud running back.  Abdullah suffered a knee injury during the season and struggled the last month of the season.  He should be healthy again but his price is still steep and the Cornhuskers getting blown out makes him a GPP only play.  Tommie Armstrong has put up decent numbers all year but struggles with his throwing accuracy.  The saving grace with Armstrong is his ability to run the ball which maybe needed quite a bit.
