We are on to Week 9 so it is time to take a look ahead at the different price points on both Draftkings and FanDuel this weekend. It is important to find the most productive players every week, but you also can't afford to overpay for the production that you will receive.  We are just over half-way through the season so big performances from the previous weeks are not causing as big of jumps in the pricing.  Each site has their own method for pricing.  Draftkings tends to be more aggressive on moving their pricing up and down based on what we have seen so far this year while FanDuel has been a little more conservative and even overpricing some players based on historical numbers the player has produced not just this current season.  Draftkings in particular this week seem to have some incredible lineups which could lead to some stacked line-ups in Week 9 just hopefully not as crazy as last week.

Quarterbacks

Philip Rivers headlines the overpriced quarterbacks.  Rivers is $8,800 on FanDuel & $8,300 on Draftkings as he heads to Miami. The Dolphins defense is solid and Rivers should find things tough in Miami.  We have Tony Romo with him battling a back injury as the Cowboys face Arizona.  Dallas is a run first team at this point so it really limits the upside for Romo.  Romo is $7,500 on DK and $8,200 on FD.  The last quarterback to talk about that is overpriced is Andy Dalton on $8,500 on FD.  Dalton has really struggled the last few starts and without Gio Bernard being the same threat he was, I don't think Dalton can return value.

The value seems to be much better on Draftkings when looking for quarterbacks.  Colin Kaepernick gets to face the Rams at home this week coming off a bye week. Kaepernick is $7,000 on Draftkings and $7,800 on FanDuel.  Kaerpnick lit up the Rams last time out and should do so again.  Carson Palmer has been finding the big plays consistently.  Palmer is $6,800 on DK going up against Dallas.  The Cowboys defense is still suspect despite what their numbers appear.  Dallas has run the football incredibly well all year but will find it tough going this week.  The time of possession won't be up to par this week which will let Palmer expose them.  Ryan Tannehill is just $6,300 against San Diego.  Tannehill has some struggles last week but should rebound this week.  The last one to mention is Joe Flacco who is $7,300 on FD and $6,100 on DK.  Flacco gets the very suspect Steelers defense which he should easily pay off his price.

Running Backs

The overpriced running backs start with Gio Bernard which is stunning to write about after his start to the season.  Bernard has been dinged up the last few weeks but still has a fairly high price of $8,500 on FanDuel & $6,600 on Draftkings despite some disappointing performances.  Andre Ellington is due to go down the road we are seeing with Gio Bernard.  Running backs his size can't take the touches he has been getting week in and week out..  The last two to mention on FanDuel are Frank Gore $7,200 and Knile Davis $6,400.  The 49ers offensive line is a wreck right now and Gore is not overly involved on a consistent basis.  While Davis is a back-up running back who normally gets less than 10 touches so you can't touch him at almost any price let alone where his price tag sits.

It is amazing how much LeSean McCoy's price has fallen in particular on Draftkings.  McCoy is $5,200 on Draftkings and $7,800 on FanDuel.  The Philadelphia offensive line appears to be getting healthy which is the biggest reason for his early struggles. McCoy is a steal right now. Ahmad Bradshaw is another running back that comes with great value.  Bradshaw is $5,800 on DK and $7,500 on FD.  Bradshaw is heavily involved in the offense in particular by the redzone.  The last two to mention is Jamaal Charles at $7,100 on DK & Ronnie Hillman at $7,200 on FD.  Charles is a TD machine going up against the Jets who give up a ton of points with their non-stop turnovers. Hillman lost out on a few TD's last week but did rack up some yards.  The Broncos face New England this week which has been awful against the run that should lead to a big game for Hillman.

Wide Receivers

Dez Bryant has moved to the top of the list of overpriced wide receivers.  Bryant is still an elite player just not a focal point of the offense with DeMarco Murray running wild.  Bryant is $8,800 on FanDuel & $8,200 on Draftkings but has such limited upside right now.  Mohammed Sanu is $6,400 on DK after some productive weeks without A.J. Green.  The bad news for Sanu is that Green should be back this week so he should return to a DFS afterthought.  DeSean Jackson is $7,800 on FanDuel  and with the return of Griffin this week he will really struggle.  Griffin has struggled throwing the deep which is what Jackson does best.  The last one who could be owned a lot this week after a monster performance vs. the Bears is Brandon LaFell who will find a bigger challenge against Denver. LaFell still has to deal with Brady spreading the ball around to Rob Gronkowski, Shane Vereen and Julian Edelman.

A short memory is needed in fantasy sports.  Michael Floyd was shutout last week but I will go right back to him this week. Floyd is $3,800 on Draftkings and $6,500 on FanDuel.  He is still a favorite of Carson Palmer.  Mike Wallace has been on this list all year it seems and is $5,200 on Draftkings.  Wallace is due for a monster game.  The last one on DK that I wanted to touch on is Jordan Mathews who is becoming a favorite target on Nick Foles.  Houston will likely focus on Jeremy Maclin this week so Mathews should see a ton of looks.  There are two more values on FD to look at in Rueben Randle who is $6,400 & Anquan Boldin who is $6,300.  Both of these players fall in the upside category but yet lower priced wide receivers.

Tight Ends

Dwayne Allen is an interesting player who appears to be on the underpriced side on Draftkings at $4,100 but overpriced on FanDuel at $6,200.  Allen is a Luck's favorite target in the redzone which brings big upside but the lack of catches makes the floor too small to use on FD at his current price.  Tim Wright who only plays about 1/3 of the plays has seen his price way too high at $5,800 on FD & $4.500 on DK.  Wright could very easily put up 0 points so no way you can use him.  The last one to touch on is Larry Donnell is $4,600 on DK.  Donnell had some garbage production last time out but for the most part has been non-existent in the Giants offense.

Julius Thomas is just $5,600 coming off a quiet few weeks.  Thomas has been fantastic in the redzone is due for a decent yardage game as well.  It seems that each given week one of the Denver receivers has a monster game and this week has a Julius Thomas feeling to it. Jordan Reed is the only other real underpriced option outside of Thomas and Allen.  Reed is a PPR machine and is just $5,500 on FanDuel.  Robert Griffin III is also expected to return and Griffin has always made a point to feed Reed the ball.
