We are on to Week 8 so it is time to take a look ahead at the different price points on both Draftkings and FanDuel this weekend. It is important to find the most productive players every week, but you also can't afford to overpay for the production that you will receive.  We are just over a third of the way through the season so big performances from the previous weeks are not causing as big of jumps in the pricing.  Each site has their own method for pricing.  Draftkings tends to be more aggressive on moving their pricing up and down based on what we have seen so far this year while FanDuel has been a little more conservative and even overpricing some players based on historical numbers the player has produced not just this current season.  Draftkings in particular this week seem to have some very loose pricing which could lead to some stacked line-ups in Week 8.

Quarterback

The quarterback pricing actually seems very well done on both Draftkings and FanDuel. Russell Wilson is the most overpriced quarterback of the bunch this week.  While he is not terrible, the price tag of $8,400 on DK & $8,900 on FD is just too much in a road match-up at Carolina.  Carolina has some defensive issues but I don't expect a shootout in this game.  Austin Davis is the only other QB on either site seems to have been overpriced is Austin Davis at $7,500 on FD.  Davis is a below average QB who should be avoided at  all most any price.

There are plenty of values at quarterback position unlike the lack of overpriced,  Nick Foles takes on the Arizona defense which is prone to the big play.  Foles is only $6,400 on Draftkings and $8,200 on FanDuel.  He has not been exceptional this year but Chip Kelly should be well prepared coming off the bye week.  The other quarterback who appears on both sites as a nice value is Teddy Bridgewater at $5,100 on DK and $5,400 on FD.  I normally would never suggest Bridgewater but he is dirt cheap and takes on the awful Tampa Bay defense.  The last QB who I wanted to touch on was Tom Brady who is red hot and is just $7,200 on DK.  Brady takes on a weak Bears defense with an offense that has no go-to running back so the passing game is the way they are moving the ball.

Running Backs

Andre Ellington is going to be viewed as a decent play this week but he is overpriced.  Ellington is $6,600 on Draftkings but he got 30 touches last week and seemed dinged up on a few plays.  He is not built to get 20+ touches per game so I think he will see a scaled back touches this week.  Zac Stacy is a painfully obvious choice at $7,200 on FanDuel.  Stacy will be likely to get more than just a few touches this week as he is out of favor with the coaching staff.  The last player in the overpriced category is Doug Martin at $6,600 on FD.  Tampa Bay has been a train wreck this year which has killed the chance for Martin to get involved in the offense.  He must be avoided.

Cincinnati has been shredded on defense as of late so Justin Forsett is next in-line to take advantage.  Forsett is $5,100 on Draftkings and $6,700 on FanDuel.  He has not been getting the catches the last two weeks but will still be a solid play at those prices. LeSean McCoy is just $5,800 on DK against a decent run defense in Arizona.  McCoy is still capable of a monster game anytime against any opponent so will be a fantastic play this week.  Gio Bernard and the Cincinnati offense was putrid last week which has helped Bernard become quite the steal this week. Bernard will pay-off in a big way.  Lamar Miller is the last of the value plays at $7,400 on FD.  Miller is the full-time guy in Miami and has taken full advantage of it.  He could have another big game.

Wide Receivers

There are a pair of Cincinnati wide receivers who are overpriced on each site.  Mohamed Sanu who is just an average NFL player is $5,600 on Draftkings & $7,000 on FanDuel  and A.J. Green is $8,400 on FanDuel.  Green is battling a toe injury and if active is not worth the risk.  Sanu is also going to have to deal with being a secondary part of the game plan with Green's return. The last one is Doug Baldwin who is $6,800 on FD.  Please don't chase his performance from last week as it won't happen again.

The only thing that has limited the production of Jordy Nelson is some non competitive games.  Nelson and the Packers go on the road against New Orleans in a game that should have plenty of fireworks.  He is just $7,800 on Drafkings.  He could be paired with Michael Floyd who is $4,900 on DK and $7,400 on FD.  Arizona should be throwing the ball a ton this week and I expect Floyd to have a big week.  Julian Edelman is just $4,600 on DK which is fantastic for someone who is guaranteed at least 4 catches.  Edelman has to be due for a TD.  Over on FanDuel,  Brandon Marshall is $7,400 and Sammy Watkins is $7,300.  Marshall is due for a big game and Watkins is clearly the man in the Bills offense right now.

Tight Ends

A couple of random tight ends that should be minimum price on Draftkings are not.  Clay Harbor is $4,100 on DK and Gavin Escobar is $3,900.  Both players have produced random guys that has caused their prices to rise.  Greg Olsen and Jordan Cameron on FanDuel are both guys I will avoid.  Olsen has been solid all year but I can't pay $7,600 on FD.  Cameron is $5,800 but last year's productive season and a fluke game two weeks ago has seen his price stay high.

Jimmy Graham is going to be a steal on Draftkings this week.  The best tight end in the league is just $5,600 and I expect there to be less limits on this playing time.  Graham should bounce back nicely.  Jordan Reed is the other tight end to target.  Reed is just $4,000 on DK and $5,200 on FD.  Colt McCoy could start this week and Reed could have 5+ catches on Monday night.
