We are on to Week 7 so it is time to take a look ahead at the different price points on both Draftkings and FanDuel this weekend. It is important to find the most productive players every week, but you also can't afford to overpay for the production that you will receive.  We are just over a third of the way through the season so big performances from the previous weeks are not causing as big of jumps in the pricing.  Each site has their own method for pricing.  Draftkings tends to be more aggressive on moving their pricing up and down based on what we have seen so far this year while FanDuel has been a little more conservative and even overpricing some players based on historical numbers the player has produced not just this current season.

Below you will find a breakdown on a number of the quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers along with the tight ends on both Draftkings and FanDuel who are overpriced and underpriced.

Quarterbacks

heads the list of overpriced quarterbacks.  Rivers checks in at $8,600 on Draftkings and $9,300 on FanDuel. San Diego seems to have found a bit of running game which means the Chargers don't need to rely solely on Rivers.  We have seen in the past they prefer to grind the clock away if they can which makes the price tag too great for Rivers at this time.  The other player to avoid is Andy Dalton at $7,100 on DK & $8,300 on FD.  The Bengals did get in a shootout this past weekend but I don't expect that to happen again. Cincinnati really wants to run the football and if they play better defense there won't be many chances for Dalton to rack up the stats.

The Saints return from the bye week which should be good news for their offense as they prepare well when given time extra time to get ready.  Drew Brees will take on the tough Lions defense but is only $8,100 on Draftkings.  Brees is good for almost 300+ yards each week and while the Lions defense has been tough it does have some issues in the secondary to be exploited.  You won't find his price this cheap very often for Brees.  Matt Ryan is just $6,500 on DK & Ben Roethlisberger on $5,700.  It is real surprising to see both of these players that cheap.  Ryan & Roethlisberger are both capable of 300+ yards and multiple TD's with the weapons they have. There a couple of nicely priced QB's on FanDuel in Colin Kaepernick at $7,800 and Jake Locker at $6,500.   Kaepernick will need to have a big game to keep up with Peyton Manning so his price fits nicely.  Locker is going to be a question mark this week but gets the horrible Redskins secondary which he should be able to exploit if he is able to go.

Running Backs

I know Arian Foster has been highly productive when he gets touches, but I can't spend that kind of money on a guy with chronic back issues which makes his price too high.  Foster sits at $8,300 on Draftkings and $9,100 on FanDuel.  Andre Ellington comes in $6,500 on DK but really lacks the same upside say a guy like Jamaal Charles has who is just $6,700.  Charles seems like a must play this week when compared to Ellington.  The last two guys to touch on are Alfred Morris who is $4,700 on DK. The Redskins seem to fall behind every game which limits his touches even that price & Eddie Lacy at $7,700 on FanDuel.  Lacy is sharing too many carries with James Starks to be used right now.

In addition to Charles, you can find great value with Lamar Miller who is $5,300 on Draftkings & $7,200 on FanDuel.  With Knowshon Moreno lost for the season, we will get a full complement of Miller who is probably a Top 10 RB week in week out the rest of the way.  Marshawn Lynch seems like a steal at $7,100 on DK.  Lynch gets to face the Rams this week and I guarantee they force feed "Beast Mode" with 20+ touches.  Lastly, there is Ben Tate who is just $7,300 on FD.  The Cleveland Browns can run on any one and Tate fits the scheme perfectly.  Tate should run wild on Jacksonville.

Wide Receivers

There are a ton of affordable high quality receivers this week but first I want to touch on a few guys not worth the price.  It starts with T.Y. Hilton who is $7,000 on Draftkings & $7,600 on FanDuel.  Hilton did have a monster game last week which shot up his price but he is not likely to be duplicate that performance.  Mohammed Sanu is $7,000 on DK after a big week as well but he did almost all of his damage late in that game where the Bengals needeed to keep scoring points.  The Bengals throwing the ball that much is not part of the game plan for Cincinnati.  We then have Brian Quick who is $6,000 on DK but that price was listed before he disappeared last week on Monday Night.  Quick is not a bad player but the over hype was too much and people paid for it last week.  DeSean Jackson is up to $8,000 on FD which is too much for a home run only type player.  Jackson could very easily catch  just 2 passes for 20 yards this week.

As far as values go Brandon Marshall at $6,300 on DK & $7,700 on FD is a steal.  Marshall had a monster 1st half last week and is due to find the endzone.  Marshall could have put some even bigger numbers if Atlanta's offense did not do a 2nd half meltdown.  Michael Floyd gets Carson Palmer back for another week which should lead to big things.  Palmer will take shots downfield to Floyd which leads to big things.  I will be interested to see what the ownership of Marques Colston is this week.  Colston is just $4,300 on DK & $5,500 on FD.  The Saints will be without Jimmy Graham this week so someone has to catch a portion of those 300+ yards passing.

Tight Ends

This position continues to see great fluctuations each week in prices and production.  Travis Kelce checks in at $4,800 on Drafkings which is too much for a guy with limited upside.  Kelce has talent but is just not on the field enough.  Clay Harbor is $4,600 on DK and while he has been decent in a few games, I don't see any reason to chance it at his price range.  Over on FanDuel,  Jordan Cameron is $6,100 & Jason Witten is $5,900.  Both of these players are no longer focal points of the offense but I know people are going to get tricked into the production they had last week.  It is best to stay away.

Vernon Davis headlines my underpriced guys.  Davis did look out of whack on Monday Night but he should be in much better game shape this week against Denver.  The 49ers will need to Davis to come up big and looks solid at $4,500 on DK & $5,700 on FD.   Martellus Bennett will continue to put up solid numbers on DK with a $5,100 tag.  Bennett has been highly involved each week for Chicago.  The last one I can't believe I am talking about is Jared Cook who is $5,200 on FD.  Cook has been more involved the last few weeks and you can actually see a fire inside him even though he looks like a pyscho at times on the field.
