Recommended Lineup Week 6All lineups are based off of a $1,000,000 salary cap featured at Daily Joust, you best option in daily fantasy sports gaming. Lineups consist of a quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, one tight end, one kicker and one team defense. Teams are created for contests including all Sunday and Monday games. QB: Carson Palmer (OAK) @ ATL--$155,000--Statistically, the Falcons have been solid defending the pass this season, but if you break down each game those numbers may be deceiving allowing just five touchdowns to nine interceptions. This week Carson Palmer gets a shot at the Falcons defense that is beatable through the air, and even if this one is a blowout he is a great value this week compared to the other quarterbacks at his level. RB: Adrian Peterson (MIN) @ WAS--$154,000--The Vikings are one of the biggest surprises in football this season and a lot of that success has to do with Adrian Peterson’s production. This week he is matched up against a Redskins defense that has given up double-digit fantasy points to opposing running backs in four of the team’s five games so despite the high price tag, he should finish produce enough to make it worth it. RB: BenJarvus Green-Ellis (CIN) @ CLE--$128,000--As I stated in my Week 6 Start or Sit Column, the Browns have major issues against the run, including allowing 200 yards to Ahmad Bradshaw last week. BenJarvus Green-Ellis is priced below Darren McFadden, Michael Turner and Frank Gore, but has the best matchup out of all of them so consider his price tag a gift from the fantasy foot ball gods. WR: Hakeem Nicks (NYG) @ SF--$139,000--Hakeem Nicks is going to be a game-time decision this week against the 49ers, but after practicing the last two games I am willing to take a shot on him this week. When he plays Eli manning looks his way early and often, so despite the tough matchup expect him to be a solid contributor if he plays. If you do choose to role with him, just have a backup plan in case his health becomes an issue prior to kickoff. WR: Andre Roberts (ARI) vs. BUF--$103,000--The Bills are getting torched through the air this season and Andre Roberts continues to get a lot of targets from quarterback Kevin Kolb. This game is going to be won through the air, and Roberts should be a big factor in that decision against the worst pass defense in the league. WR: Denarius Moore (OAK) @ ATL--$93,000--I usually don’t look to have a quarterback-wide receiver combo in daily fantasy football, but this matchup can’t be overlooked. When Denarius Moore is on the field Palmer looks his way, and with his play-making ability, I expect him to be a major part of the team’s offense coming off of the bye-week. TE: Brent Celek (PHI) vs. DET--$87,000-- Celek has been the most consistent receiver in the Eagles passing game this season and gets a good matchup this week against the Lions. The Lions have given up three touchdowns to opposing tight ends in four games this season, so expect the Eagles to exploit the holes in their pass defense on Sunday. K: Sebastian Janikowski (OAK) @ ATL--$91,000--The Raiders long-time kicker hasn’t yielded much fantasy production this season, but this week should be a different story playing in the Georgia Dome. Sebastian Janikowksi has a very strong leg and playing indoors should open the door for more field-goal attempts as long as the offense can continue to move the ball down the field. DEF: Philadelphia Eagles vs. DET--$49,000--The Lions can put a lot of points, but in all, the Eagles defense has held their own this season. At their current price it is worth a shot starting them this week especially considering the fact that the Lions have has turnover problems through their first four games.Total Salary: $999,000Value Picks for Week 6QuarterbacksJoe Flacco (BAL)--$173,000--The Cowboys defense is overrated and the Ravens will have to pass the ball if they want to win this game, so Joe Flacco is a should be a solid play this week.Christian Ponder (MIN)--$171,000--The Redskins can’t stop the pass, so as long as Christian Ponder doesn’t turn the ball over, he is worth a shot, even on the road. Running BacksDoug Martin (TB)--$103,000--The Buccaneers are coming off of a bye-week and will go back to the basics in this matchup against the Chiefs, who have a defense that can be beat on the ground.William Powell (ARI)--$55,000--The Cardinals aren’t much of a running team, but William Powell should get enough carries to make him worst starting if you are looking for a value pick.Wide ReceiversBrandon Lloyd (NE)--$95,000--The Seahawks have a solid defense as a whole, but they can be beat in the passing game, which is what the Patriots will try to exploit on Sunday.Donnie Avery (IND)--$79,000--The Colts are still waiting for someone to step up as the team’s No. 2 wide receiver, and with any luck, it will be Donnie Avery who takes on the challenge this week.Tight EndsScott Chandler (BUF)--$81,000--Scott Chandler is Ryan Fitzpatrick’s favorite target in the red zone and he will likely get a few targets in this one as the Bills try to keep up with the Cardinals passing game.Brandon Myers (OAK)--$66,000--The Raiders will have to pass a lot if they want to stay in this game and Myers should get enough targets to make him worth starting if needed. KickersAlex Henery (PHI)--$77,000Mason Crosby (GB)--$54,000DefenseSt. Louis Rams--$96,000Miami Dolphins--$92,000Matthew Beck is a Fantasy Sports Columnist for Rotoinfo.com.
