One of the keys to hitting is to have balance. It is critical in life too. You need good rewarding work. Check. You need a great supportive and loving family. Check. So today, I woke and I started day dreaming that I was Roy Hobbs (Robert Redford) in The Natural using the Wonderboy bat to crush the game winning home run, being mobbed by my team and then of course, my son catches the ball and throws it back. In my dream sequence, Glenn Close turns into a young Kate Upton fawning over me after the game winning homer. The final scene of my dream is like the last scene of Basic Instinct with me and Kate Upton. #winning #yeahright

Playing RotoDerby – Fantasy Sports Simplified

OK. So, I wake up and have to go play on RotoDerby.

It is incredible simple. Put together a roster of 10 players (six infielders and four outfielders) where their salaries are the number of home runs that they hit last year. Your team can only have 220 total 2016 home runs.

The scoring is simple. You get five (5) points for each home run, one point for each RBI and subtract one point for each strikeout. AMAZINGLY easy. Fantasy Sports Simplified.

If You’re Not Cheating, You’re Not Trying

So here is the process that I go through to figure out what to do in this game. First, I create a cheat sheet in two sorts. The first list here is the projected top 30 values, taking projections and applying their salary. The second is the projected top 30 players. Between these two sheets, it allows me to create all the lineups that I would want. The numbers are just a guideline, but can be helpful specially to recognize those players who strike out more than you think.

Swing Wang Oh RotoDerby Team

Always try to come with names that go with players and make me laugh. Not important that anyone else laughs, your team names need to make you laugh. Last year, I went with “TP for my Bucholz.”

Here is how my favorite team turned out. I submitted six (6) teams (for the price of four) but this is the one that I like the best. Notice the value of Buster Posey this year. He is a must have on all teams. I don’t like Edwin Encarnacion as it will take time for him to get used to his new home. He is a must have in monthly derbies in the future.
